Best thing to come out of Canada: Rush
It would be boring to talk about what I deem the best band, because I'm not entirely sure anyway, so I will just talk about my guilty pleasures and bands I like but are obscure enough and I don't think they are the best in general.
My guilty pleasure is dubstep in animus. And dubstep remixes.
I'm growing fond of Scandinavian and Finnish Power Metal. Amorphis, Celesty, Pagan's Mind, Sabaton, Stratovarius. This song is recently on loop majority of times:
Sabaton and Stratovarius are great!
I had the pleasure of seeing them (Sabaton) play at the Independence Day of my country this year :]
When there is too much love, too much compassion,
too much understanding, too much kindness, too much thankfulness, too much respect, and too much heart, then it becomes an act of cruel violence.
What's your opinion about the latest album of Stratovarius? It positively surprised me because previous two albums were not as good as some of their even earlier works.
I'd say that in Polaris and Elysium they were still plagued by Tolkki's spirit. This latest release really surprised me too. I can finally say that there's life without Tolkki :]
What i want to hear now is the next Angra's album, Secret Garden. Judging by the single they released this week, "Newborn me", this will be their best release since Temple Of Shadows.
When there is too much love, too much compassion,
too much understanding, too much kindness, too much thankfulness, too much respect, and too much heart, then it becomes an act of cruel violence.
Best rock ballad is undeniably November Rain by Guns N Roses.
Best worst song is Ice Ice Baby by Vanilla Ice.
Blind Guardian is the best girl
I think you meant to say Brown Girl In the Ring is best girl.
In the forum page this thread is cut down to "Beast Lair Musical," and I was so excited and then I clicked on it and now I'm less excited.
You are fan of Frozen, obviously you like watching people sing.
Opinions time. What is the best cover song? For the sake of actually having some discussion I'm straight up eliminating Hurt by Cash and All Along the Watchtower by Hendrix.
Joe Cocker cover of With A Little Help From My Friends? I guess discussing music is not my thing...

Spoiler:
Covers that completely turn a song on its head are the best. Frente's cover of "Bizarre Love Triangle" and Sarah Blasko's cover of "Hey Ya" are both stripped back, brilliant tracks.
Cat Empire’s "Hotel California", Ben Folds' "Such Great Heights", Placebo's "Running Up That Hill" and "Where is My Mind?", Owl Eyes' "Pumped Up Kicks", Reel Big Fish's "Hungry Like The Wolf", Paul Kelly's "Little Red Corvette", The Whitlams' "Tangled Up In Blue" and Adam Hills' "Advance Australia Fair" are all excellent, off the top of my head.
In fact "Advance Australia Fair" is the best cover of a national anthem I've ever heard. Behold!
Frozen is a feature length music video for Let It Go. There's some other nice bits in there but it's ultimately just an okay movie at the end.
Frozen had way too many forced things on it to be anything above decent.
