The waiting or the placeholding?
So why does Vlov come to party in france if he's got beef with Roa from 200 years ago?
Might've been plotting to stab him in the back?
Didn't get the chance cuzZelUninvited DAA-san showed up to crash the party and Arcueid did the rest.
Why is Vlov still following Roa's advice in regards to diablerizing Arcueid, if he's already established that Roa is not exactly a trustworthy individual?
The placeholding obviously. You could just as legitimately say the DHO operate the exact same way as the Wizarding World in Harry Potter for all the evidence we have. Or the society of Zootopia. The fact we don't know, means we don't know what they were like and saying they were just like the Jujutsu Kaisen organization is just you going off on your own hateboner for them for two pages.
To be fair, Wizarding World of Harry Potter is more comparable to the Mages Association. Your random statement inadvertently hit a mark. Just not the one that you were aiming for.
No the point is that since we know nothing about the DHO they could also be anything, and assigning them some random traits from another organization in a different media, by a different creator is pointless. Especially if you then spend days complaining about them.
Maybe the ritual is significant enough that Vlov would shelve his animosity... makes you wonder.
Except comparing similar organizations from different works isn't random? Like I said, you just inadvertently compared the Ministry of Magic to the Mages Association.
Is that an answer to your own question about Vlov or my question?
Both.
Actually, didn't someone write a fan fic about Shinji in the Harry Potter Wizarding World? I even said something along the lines of "Zouken could kick Voldemort's ass" or something along those lines.
The DAA appear to be comprised of cliques and clusters rather than moving as a single unit. For example, Nrvnqsr, who has a number, is friends with Roa, who, despite his power level, is not officially a member. Roa is generally disliked by the rest of the DAA. Merem assisted the Church in destroying the Forest of Einnashe, despite both of them being DAA. You know, the same bullshit politics from when they were mortal. Undeath does not change things for better or for worse.
His dialog with Roa in his Melty Blood story. That, and I think he alludes to it in his dialog with Arc?
I thought Vlov just wanted her heart to stave off his curse. Though I suppose since she's probably the focus of Roa's ritual, doing such a thing would also fuck him.
Win quote for Roa.

Killing the Infinite Reincarnator is pointless and Vlov can't bring himself to bother doing it every time like Arc does. Real, meaning revenge against Roa is rendering Arcueid unusable for whatever purposes he has for her.
