It's okay. I've never been too picky about what I drink, it tastes about the same as what I usually drink (Forty Creek). The hint of maple is nice.

'Okay' is a huge endorsement when grading on the curve of celebrity brand alcohols.
I tasted Crown Royal once when I was a sneaky preteen and it helped start the ball rolling to me becoming a person who doesn't like alcohol unless it tastes like some kind of berry soda.
Berry alcohol is delicious.
Does anyone know both a good place for manga raws and a good, easy to read manga? I'd like to have at least some sort of japanese activity that didn't absolutely kick my ass everytime.
i had bookmarked a link with anime with jpn subtitles, but lost it...
just google it, you will prolly find plenty
easy mangas are usually the 4koma / slice of life types
I used the resources from DJT back when had the time to study regularly, it has a bunch of manga and reading recommendations

Half Asleep Anime Idea:
Generic moe show about a young woman coming from the countryside to live in Tokyo and live her dream, but she gets some menial job in the meantime, like working at a maid cafe or something. Normal SoL hijinks ensue, feeding ducks at the park with an old man, Helping a young mother out at the grocery store, dealing with the 30yr old otaku at work, going on a blind date at a high class restaurant that gets side tracked by friends drama, etc. Then episode 12 rolls around and the pre-credits is her going for a jog in the park. Right as she's leaving a bunch of black SUV's surround her and a bunch of guys in suits pointing guns at her tell her she's under arrest. Then the skyscraper in the background overlooking the park has a huge explosion rip out of it. The overly long light novel title pops up, and 90% of the words start to fade out until all that's left is Sasaki-san: The Assassin. Cut to an Ocean's 11 style montage episode about what was actually going on for the whole series. The runs in the park? The bench she rests on is a dead drop point. The Old man and the ducks? He's passing her blueprints on a SD card. The Young Mother? She takes all the stuff home that she pointed out and rips apart the toys to build a detonator. The tomato Plant she spent an episode trying to grow? Pan out to the rest of the table where there's a bunch of science equipment and all the fertilizer she bought. The date she ducked into the bathroom for a good portion? Setting up bombs throughout the venue. Multiple cuts to the TV's thoughout the show talking about an upcoming international summit in town. Cut back at the end to MC-chan being lead into an SUV in handcuffs with a small smile on her face. After credits scene, otaku man walking down a hallway takes off his swirly glasses, tosses a suit jacket over his PreCure t-shirt, and takes his detective badge out of his pocket and puts it around his neck. Asks random cop at the station where the suspect is, he want's to question her. Gets lead to a holding room, opens the door, and it's empty with just a note on the table saying "Better Luck Next Time".
My mind goes weird places when I wake up before the sun's up.
Make one small change and you've got my money.

damn
There's a manga about a total klutz who's also a world-class assassin because she has literally zero presence so nobody notices her when she kills people. Hanako's life as an assassin's the name, iirc.
Happy New Year from somewhere around the middle of the world. At least as far as timezones are concerned.
Happy New Rotation about the local star
Happy New Year to y'all
So, I was reading this 18+ web novel on the side and there is thing thing about it that really bothers me.
Despite being your average narou smut the author for some reason really likes to use kanji way more than the normal (seriously, why writeinstead of just つもり?)resulting also in lots of furigana which makes it a pain for me when I copy the text to the clipboard to use the dictonary.つもり心算
And not only that he sometimes also for whatever reason uses furigana to write the english equivalent of a japanese word. What's even the point of writting,シルク絹,スキル技能,クリトリス陰核亀頭orキーワード鍵言instead of just using kanji or katakana???テリトリー商域
This isn't a chuuni novel or something of the kind, it's just a generic fantasy porn wn and the furigana is just the translation of kanji not some weird terminology so I must ask myself: Why?
On another note, Happy New Year.
Would you have cared about this as much if he hadn't done that?
I'm more wondering what it is that he's being obtuse about. Like I can see it in a proper story where it adds to the loftiness, but in smut isn't the most pivotal phase just "I came"?
not a chuuni novel, but the author themselves are chuuni
