Nobu calling herself a demon lord is equal parts pretentiousness and appropriating a derogatory nickname. Romulus calling himself ROMA is because the city is literally named after him.

Otherwise, the city would be named Reme.
the fact that we keep focusing on Servants whose character arcs are often very limited for various reasons, just because we want flashy fights when there are actually a lot of characters and creaturea in 21st century nasuverse who are just as powerful or comparable but with greater story arc potential and interesting skillsets

As Koei Nobu's conversations with Zeus show, taking that name is like taking on the resolve to do whatever is needed to end the chaos. Basically, a less sappy version of Doctor Who's title choice.
Did you agree so much that your first post in the forum was literally "this" ? :P
Welcome, by the way!
The fact that we are several entries into FATE and no one has managed to actually reach the Root using the grail or obtain the 3rd magic somehow.
Stalling has its limits. The point of it all should have been achieved by now, i feel
Yeah but nobody played Ulimited Codes :p
Kind of sad how they made Unlimited Codes into PS2-era(?) 3D instead of 2D like Melty Blood. Makes me wonder if it could've potentially lasted.
Then again, Melty Blood has a plot, generally, while Unlimited Codes seems more random story plot for each character?
Yeah it’s not an anime fighter it’s literally just bad 3D street fighter
I still want to play it. Wish they'd release it on GOG, or Steam, or something just so I won't have to deal with emulation.
It's decently fun.
I played it on a emulator.
A dream of mine is a big type moon fighter, but in 2D, more similar to Melty than unlimited codes, but obviously with better graphics. Something like Dragon ball fighterz
It's funny you guys would say that, because this happens every year and it just happened last weekend, and it's even pretty watchable. If somebody bothers to go full autist on the game, of course, it's only moderately less broken than Hokuto no Ken, but plenty of people also play Hokuto no Ken.
F/UC also has plenty of system mechanics in common with Melty. While Melty is really special in a bunch of ways, including MBAA being the exact moment Takeuchi's art peaked and it was all downhill as he never left the board meeting room since, I'm pretty sure the real reason F/UC died is that you need a PS2 to play it. Or PSP. Neither of which is really a current gen console, or, you know, PC.
The almost total lack of grown Illya fan art. I know Iri exist, but come on, give me some older Illya
But Ilya doesn't have that long...
