She's definitely not the real Ayaka but I don't see the jump from that to Manaka either.

I doubt she has anything to do with Manaka. Remember there's also Zelretch shenanigans going on with her in "Character Creation." If she was just Manaka, that takes away from being the "Fake." Plus her hair is dyed. Not to mention she doesn't even act like her.
Very likely I'm just reading too much into it.
That being said, cap this post.
Sure sure.
Thanks for the update and Happy New years! I kind of agree with this, even though I like Gil a lot. Narita's depiction of him, while accurate, is pretty stale. Everything he does is predictable Gilgamesh, so he doesn't bring much to the story other than power levels. I wouldn't mind a different version like Ko-Gil if he has to stick around.
I think it's funny that the pitch seems to have been 'Enkidu makes Gil a better person with his presence', but that's just how Gil is these days.
This being "better person" Gil feels similar to when people kept telling me CasGil was nicer Gilgamesh

Ko-Gil being around wouldn't be too bad, even if it would give Narita and he's already used two of those.
casgil is nicer though, he doesn't arbitrarily line up slaves to decide which one to kill.
must gilgamesh be nice and palatable for a general audience
is it not enough for him to be a chaotic bitch who fucks everyone over
But the golden man in fsn was a big meanie bully :(
Characters are only good characters if they're (Alignment: Good) characters who call you Master!
CasGil is post-Epic, and the whole point was that he should STOP with random acts of cruelty, so of course CasGil doesn't do that. He gave a bonus to a new grandpa in his army for Pete's sake.
Regular Gil is also post-Epic.
Is he?
I mean, he probably does remember how his life went, but this might be a case of "knowledge vs experience".
I don't think he lived it, unlike CasGil.
Gil is more boring the nicer he gets, prove me wrong.
