Answer 1: don't play grand order
Answer 2: indexes would probably exist to navigate to where you want to be
Answer 1 is trash since thats what I'm doing
I think chapter by chapter can be more efficient as it handles the issue of search being borked and not being able to search for the latest info. But yeah I agree if the search function simply worked normally this wouldn't be as much of an issue.
Well my problem with that is that's a stretch to tell noobs to do that. And its p easy for you to have a better general idea of finding what you want if you know the general locations for stuff (like say if I wanted to read posts from back when Washington or Camelot came out I'd have to sift through dozens of pages of characters being mentioned that wasn't relevant for what I'm looking for).
I actually asked Hidari this. I always thought it was thread size that caused the search function breaking (and it is to a small extent). The real villain though is thread merges. Apparently thread merges is what caused the search function to get borked. I don't think the mods should use thread merge now, just lock and be done with it >_>;;;. And they don't know how to fix it? At least that's the impression I got.
Doesn't multiple threads just compound that issue? If you don't know which thread has what your looking for you have to look through all of them.
I mean I'd rather just encourage them to ask the question again rather then allowing people to say 'read the thread'.
This is the road to a Golden nickname
Mods, I have come to bargain

I'm sure it could be arranged for a few grand order forum enthusiasts to volunteer for this social service!
Depending on what's required, I'd probably be happy to volunteer for something like that. Though I've begun to worry lately that I may be taking on too many projects at once...
I mean, I though golden might be possible, but it seems not

I'm fine with them personally but they aren't conductive to attractive new posters.
What about ugly new posters?
Well, when we've got big ugly threads...
Aren't we still seen as the biggest elitist snobs of Nasuverse communities anyway?
