Melty Blood Current Code. Guilty Gear +R is pretty good too. Haven't had much of a chance to play Xrd since the netplay is complete balls. I checked out BlazBlue a bit when rollback was first added and it was okay, I just haven't gone back to it. FigtherZ seems neat, but it may be marred with a lot of questionable design decisions new fgs have been taking, and it seems that Lab Coat has really fucked the meta over, so either they're waiting on a massive balance patch or ArcSys and Toriyama had a big fight.
Ladies and gentlemen, I just played fortnite.
:facepalm
Yeah, and I'm actually bad at FPS games.
https://automaton-media.com/en/news/20220331-10997/ Doesn't seem any different from Mortal Kombat's Nightwolf to me.
I like that Guilty Gear one.
Expect to be seeing one of them soon.
Also Tem, Testament is pretty fun to play if you like mid-to-long range zoners. Not as absurd as Dhalsim in SFV, but normal S and HS beat out most May normals, and they have some great zoning tools like a Under-Night Hilde 'fuck you're out of range, I'll hit you anyways" attacks and a repukkken/anti-air reppuken waves. No clue on bigger combos, because I'm way too sloshed to pull off anything more than a qcf, but still I really like the distance that's only really matched by TOTSUGEKI (I also managed to stuff a few of those to make me feel extra good, alongside going 5-0 maining Baiken against a newbie). Also the motherfucker hits like a fucking truck to counteract the distance disadvantage. Or at least it feels like it. I'm verrrrrry drunk right now, so take it6 for what you will.
You should totally get Strive though. Even if it's less hyper than Melty, it's still really fun. And every few months the will be an update that make you want to know what this new fucking weirdo does, to bring yo back.
don't wanna
Between this and Little Witch Nobeta, I wonder which will be released first:

Oh hey, I guess Nomura got to make his "Versus XIII" game after all. :neco_arc:
IT AIN'T OVER UNTIL NOMURA SAYS IT IS!!!
Coming out November 2034.
Seems weird to have another main KH game so soon without three million side games in between.
Oh I am extremely back on my bullshit. Favorite series of all time and Nomura is finally getting to make Versus XIII.
The forest shot has the foot of a Star Wars mecha in the corner too.
Huh. Thinking of it, Yoda is basically every KH exposition dump about Darkness rolled into one character.
Last night was the 20th anniversary event for the series in Shibuya so there was a Q&A with Nomura.
-There won't be any more news for a while, it was only announced at this point to avoid leaking early.
-They're currently developing the various worlds.
-The footage was recorded in Unreal Engine 4 but the final game will be in UE5.
-The trailer's narrator is an already existing character.
-They were originally going to call it Verum Rex (the game teased in KH3's Toy Story world) but chose to call it KH4 to avoid confusing fans. In-house the dev team still calls it Verum Rex.
The upcoming mobile game Missing Link:
-Up to 6 players
-Action gameplay
-Story is set between the two previous mobile games, Unchained X and Dark Road
-Two modes: story mode and "walk mode" similar to Pokemon Go.
-Keywords: Scala Ad Caleum, Ephemer the Founding Father, the Secret Society of Keyblade Wielders
-Beta test in Autumn
Dark Road's final update to finish its story will be in August.
I can't wait to see how Kingdom Hearts 4: Verum Rex will expand on the wonderful lore of Kingdom Hearts Missing Link and the 13 other entries, 5 remakes and 7 repackagings that'll keep us going until the start (continuation) of this new trilogy (hexaicosalogy).
Unpopular opinion (maybe) but I liked what I saw.
Unpopular opinion (definitely) but I'd sacrifice Donald and Goofy if it meant KH can focus more on its SE side and leave Disney's grubby hands which destroyed KH3.
I just want some more FF stuff is all.
Cloud and Leon going back to back fighting Heartless in KH2 was always such a GOAT scene. :umu:
