Welp. If that's accurate, then it seems pretty clear that that system ain't gonna change without a good deal of death in the right places first.

Which is why you don't *wait* for the deaths to happen, you take a more active role in them.
Good luck running by the American people these days. About the only people who have the drive and means to do so are the ones that put Trump in office in the first place and keep supporting him no matter what he does.
Then again, the flu was killing Americans left and right and nobody seemed to care, so I guess Trump is correct saying that Easter will be fine: Everyone will get used to people getting the virus and dying so much they will stop caring and go back to work.
Maybe. Seems like the Republican states may go that route, while the ones run by Dems are butting heads. The Dem ones are some of the biggest money-makers for the economy.
As for people getting used to it... that seems to be what we do now.
