It is a reality marble, that phases him back to his prison.
It's off-brand Avalon that does not have most of Avalon's perks.
It's C-rank, so don't wrack your brain about its power lol.

I speculate the healing and NP gain can be applied in lore as "healing magecraft for everyone in the flowers" and "AoG mana in the air means spells are easier/cheaper to use" respectively, but that's guesswork. The only thing we know for sure is it puts a flower garden over the surrounding terrain.
In the Babylonia anime he used it to slow down Tiamat's Nega-Genesis field.
Reiterated in slightly more detail hereQuote:
"The Great Holy Grail administers the system of the Holy Grail War. The Holy Grail collects the souls of the defeated heroic spirits and acts as the reactor core to activate the Great Holy Grail."
"And once the Holy Grail collects enough souls to activate the Great Holy Grail, it uses the heroic spirits' souls to open a hole.
The Great Holy Grail fixes the small hole created when the heroic spirits return to their original place after their roles are fulfilled. This opens up the passage to the origin that humans cannot reach."
"Of course, this is just the first step. Your wish isn't granted even if the hole is opened. The path to the origin is too far."
"Butthe one who obtains the Holy Grail gains access to unlimited magical energy.
The other side has large quantities of unused mana unlike anything seen on this side. For an ordinary magus, it's nothing short of a miracle."

The Servant souls make the hole. The Greater Grail fixes the hole open.
Basically it opens a door to bonus stage. If you take the right warp pipe in bonus stage there's the root.
The Holy Grail is actually just an elaborate goatse imagery.
Based on the big discussion in the other thread, does anyone have the age of will parts from GOA and gil, its a pain to find the sources and i cant find it atm
Even the wiki gives the sources, but anyway.

We could be in Age of Will right now lol.
Do you think that Emiya Shirou's current way of living ends up hurting people in order to try to help them? For example, in order to avoid a large-scale tragedy, he ends up entering the Holy Grail War, thus hurting many of his opponents with the justification of saving many people in the future...
I know that, but the truth is that throughout Stay Night Shirou ends up hurting some people, perhaps unintentionally and without realizing that it is a contradiction of his ideal, but he does. Even during the events of the novel Shirou is said to have done the same thing prior to the events of the novel.
I mean, that is the whole growing up part.
Like in Heaven's Feel, Shirou's decision of trying to save Sakura caused a lot of "unnecessary death".
He is alright with that, because he just wants to be Sakura's hero. He doesn't want to be the Ally of Justice anymore.
And that is fine.
It is not the Lawful Good decision, but it is his decision.
I mean, Shirou "People-die-when-they-are-killed" Emiya is not going to win any diplomatic victories.
Skulls must be cracked.
If you want one more, it's in LB 3 when certain assaisin said if human kind had that kind of technology then they would go to stars instead of being struck down on earth protecting with shield or something
And there's this
> Please tell me, o ephemeral yet shining infant.
I who have lived through hundreds upon millions of years will eventually be on my deathbed.
O children, who were given merely a few millennia for evolution.
Do grant unto this dying planet a final dream.
At the end of that trifling yet ever-brilliant conclusion of childhood.
It is sad that from so many sources its defiantly stating an end to this planet being a natural course for humanity journeying to the stars.
