The blindfold've stayed on.
Giggity.
Honestly... I don't know what to feel about this ending. Heck, all of Arashi's stories make me unsure on what to feel when they end.
Or, it's an ambigous ending so he can come back to this later
That's the end of it? Huh...was expecting something more, but this is Shiki and Rin, after all; Rin likes her rest and Shiki wants normality - that sort of combination, I suppose, does that.
I laughed. Terribly.Quote:
“What the hell was that?” he hissed. “Did you hide a rocket launcher under that skirt?”
I wasn't expecting the sudden almost-sort-of-death thing, come to think of it. Sorta just popped in out of nowhere.
It's not that I'm copying them per se, but one of the reasons I like the Nasuverse is that there is no distinct happy ending. Part of the immersion factor for me is that it feels like the world that actually is out there--one that both sucks and has some wonderful things in it. I prefer both reading and writing about things that run the gamut of emotions.
Yeah, no. Usually ideas come, I write them, and that's it. I don't think about how I could incorporate them into some kind of larger continuity. I do use one fic unrelated to another to try out things I'll use at a later date. This story was good practice for Waver, Lorelei, and possibly some of those OC Enforcers that will be helpful for Hearts of the Suffering. Ihax's want for Yumi isn't going to go anywhere, but she was also good practice for some things I'll be doing with the same.
I probably should have sneaked in more foreshadowing on that within this chapter itself. If you read it all in one go it probably works better, since it's mainly commented on in chapter 3.
*claps*
This was BEAUTIFUL
I can't go further than that
Hats off, hats off to you man
