Then it could be a thing even if it isn't a thing, but- No. No. She's got to be just teasing us.
Elise took Augusta's grin in her direction as confirmation of her theory.
This must be punishment for when Travis and I conspired to tease Colt and Cathie. Turnabout is fair play, I suppose.
"Of-of course not. You're more than welcome to join us, if you want, and we don't need a chaperone. We're students! Student friends," stammered Elise, "Friends who go to the same high school as students."
If I'm entirely honest, part of me thinks it'd be better if snuck around in the rain by myself, and not risk dragging Travis and Augusta into a potentially dangerous situation. That said though, is anywhere really going to be safe pretty soon? Probably better to stay in a group than wander off alone, thought Elise, Besides, this spy mission was Travis' idea, I can hardly ask him to sit it out, can I?
Elise sighed in relief as Augusta changed the subject.Quote:

"Cesarina's an android then? Huh," said Elise as she processed that information.
Kean and Cesarina, huh? I wonder if any more of our classmates are androids.
"That all sounds pretty serious. I'm glad she's doing better. What- what caused her mind to overheat like that in the first place? If you don't mind me asking. Is there some way we can, uh, help her cool down before it gets serious enough to cause a cascade failure like that?" asked Elise.
It'd be nice to spare Cesarina from having to spend most of the week in the hospital...
