it's the same in Latin, Spanish, Italian... but you may be on to something, it's probably a Plato callback which isn't really surprising
Idea Sanguinis would be super cool

Kinda related, but do we know where Roa was originally from?
i don't think we ever got anything beyond "ambiguously Western European"
his "Michael" is read the German way, is the only clue I can think of. Was a Church bigshot so he may have operated in the vicinity of the Vatican or Avignon or wherever the Papacy was back then
Oh you mean physically, probably all over Europe.
While affiliated with the Burial Agency, he was probably based in Vatican.
As a rogue mage, he probably wandered all over. He knew Nero, who is affiliated with the Sea of Astray, which was based in Northern Europe.
Well he's a gay pianist so I'd be shocked if he wasn't Italian, or French.
Is it true that only new Ancestor being shown is Blob Arch Angel?
I wish they would finally add more Ansectors, kinda like that...
At this point Case Files showcased more Ancestors than Tsukihime (Einnashe, Rita and Van Fem).
That’s the job of future works to expand on. TsukiRe already added a buttload of new characters with a story it intends to tell whiling teasing the DAAs. It’d be unreasonable for them to further add in a bunch of irrelevant nobodies where they don’t belong.
We got parts of the names of some of them
Saying names or giving info means nothing if nasu never shows us them, or are we acting like we know all 5 true magics since Tsukihime?
Some of these guys are clearly meant to remain unknown and just part of the lore backgrounds anyway, so it doesn't ultimately matter.
Keep the mystery and all that is fine, to me.
Which ones? Most of them had a clear planned role in Tsuki 2. Stanrobe is kinda random, I guess.
happy birthday Saiki
if I took off his bandages, would he die?
Shiki's internal monologue during his fight with Noel.
I've bolded the relevant passage. When I first read this, the only thing that could come to mind was; Is Shiki actually implying she's really fuckable?
Perhaps one ought to give him the benefit of the doubt. 名器 can be interpreted otherwise, but when combined with 快楽を与える, as well as the previous passage talking about her beauty...
Perhaps he means her body has become a suitable vessel to give herself more pleasure? This seems to kind of be what the last sentence is pointing at. Or perhaps both meanings are meant.
Well, there's certainly less of an age gap.
This isn't even the first time I have seen 名器 used to describe a loli in japanese fiction.
Classic Nasu logic, loli is the ultimate beauty standard. Reminds me that bit about the Gorgon sisters.
Or Illya lol.
