Yes. Should be the same in the remake, although she now has two extra viable candidates in Vlov and Arach. Her amazing evolution could also become an Arach thing instead of Satsuki just being built different.

Interesting insights:
- Zelretch was not turned by CM, but by the previous No.3 Ancestor
- Zelretch used to have blond hair before growing old
- The Second Magic works through jewels. Zelretch connects to jewels in another parallel universe, and connect his soul to them until he takes their place. Once he leaves that parallel dimension, his body turns back to jewels.
- The Second Magic's establishment lead to the further survival of mankind, by expanding the possibilities allowed by it.
- Zelretch was one of Solomon's pupils
- Brishisan (here spelled alternatively as ブリサン rather than ブリシサン, perhaps someone else?) founded the Association with some help from Zelretch.
- Zelretch made some sort of promise with Yumina that makes him feel like occasionally helping out the Association.
- Zelretch goes to tea-parties with the "3 idiots Agape, Caubac and Lovematroos", all Dead Apostles.
- Zelretch describes Christianity as a "Mankind Expansion Manual"

I suddenly remember that statement from Nasu about how AOG mages like Medea are incompatible with the True Magics and was thinking then how the heck did Zelretch, who's also an AOG mage, create it?
Even if lets say he created it after 1000 years or so its still within the period of the AOG plus the fact that the 3rd Magic was also founded within the AOG.
Still no idea what makes True Magic special and what separates it from just magecraft

Zelretch being Solomon's students on the one hand makes sense since he was one of the Associaton's founders, but on the other he was already alive for that long before becoming a vampire?
