Maybe a bug in the installer. Just use the second option instead ("Continue the installation without the patches...") and copy them into the game folder after the installation has finished.
- The top option requires the patch files to exist in a subfolder named "Patches" of where the installer is at. It will then automatically copy those files into the game folder during install.

The new binaries were compiled differently and have support for game controllers.
I have no insights on possible causes for your issue. I can't reproduce it at my end. For reference, I'm running a...
If I don't forget, I'll add it to the CRC section in the next release.
That's because the game now doesn't allow you to select them in the menu when you're not running the x64 binary.
Quibi's busy, so updating Mega and first post might take a while. CRC32 is A4305310. This won't have its own version number.
I can confirm, there's still a bug. We're looking into it. Thanks for letting us know.
[Edit]
A hotfix for the slideopen/close issue can be downloaded here.
I'm unable to reproduce your issue on my end. The game loads normally with a "patch_lang_english.xp3" renamed to "patch_lang_simplified-chinese.xp3".
Please try with "patch_lang_simplified-chinese.xp3". This is the file name the game is looking for.
The 3 separate routes have many files in common. These duplicate files increase the size considerably. Ultimate Edition only needs to have one copy of each file, so ends up smaller.
This is because the ReTrans beta 2.0 contains partially translated trial files. The game just uses what's there.
Yes, we are aware of this issue. A fix will be included in a minor update (1.1.4) we are planning to upload soon(ish). Quibi's somewhat short on time right now.
The retranslation patch is not...
This issue does not seem to occur in the current v1.1.3 release, so I'm assuming you're not running the latest version.
Dimoks, I send you a private message not long ago; please check your inbox.
I'll integrate your corrections.
Ok, good to know.
Very good.
Ah yes. There's a bunch of cinescope instances that are affected. I'll fix those.

FBates is using a different default font, yes.
It's called only from the "*normal" and "*normalstrings" labels of "staffroll.ks" and "newstaffroll.ks", but since these seem to not be called by anything, bgm70, Link (short ver.), looks unused.

This effect was still working in 1.1.2, irrespective of aspect ratio, so seems to be a more recent regression. We'll look into it.
[Edit]
Found the cause. Looking into a fix.
I confirmed. I indeed had issues with a basic SP1, so added these updates, after which it started working:
Windows6.1-KB2670838-x64.msu
Includes updates to the following components: Direct2D,...
It was in the previous version's opening post as well, yes. It's just as the text states - all window ratios outside of 4:3 and 16:9 will show minor glitches for the effects based on rule images....
Concerning the Ultimate Edition:
- The installer is compatible with Windows 8 and higher. This is because it's Python based, and Python dropped support for Windows 7 with their more recent...
Well, do you have the 3 separate routes of the game that were released for PC in Japan back in 2012? It wants to merge these. It can't go on without them. The first page of the setup explains that in...
You describe behaviour that was typical in ealier patch versions. The v1.1.2 will enable the "Return Top" button after completing the prologue the first time, but the button won't do anything at...
You are correct. It's supposed to exit to the title menu after completing the prologue. It did so in both the classic and RN release.
Right now, it only returns to the title screen if the title...
We're using `DFRyuSeki-W9` for rubyTitle and `DFGLeiSho-SB` for title.
Neither `DFKaiSho` nor `DFRyuSeki-W9`for rubyTitle are a 100% match, though both are close.
