If it stays that way, I actually may start dropping in again.
Don't worry, Rara-kun. It'll all be daijyoubu.
Banner Wars 2: Banner Boogaloo.
The upgrade would've taken like half an hour if it all went to plan.
What hadn't went to plan is the latest version needed a newer version of PHP on the server, and I had to get dovac to do that...
At this point, Kirby's going to have a case of huge ego...
...but when he turned out banners that were that good, I'd say it's pretty well deserved.
Have a feeling at least one of those will...
I do remember that one, actually. And I think it was in - if it wasn't, it must've been due to some quota or something.
No it would not. It's not tied to accounts at all.
I mean, you could use something like AdBlock Plus to block the specific banners you don't like on your PC, but that will mess up the forum layout...
Correct.
We probably will be running with this, but we are going to settle down some rules first. We don't want to be blasted with 100+ entries from one guy again, and as much as everyone hated...
Well, let's see. The banner system would go. Unvoting in polls would go. The template modifications (hint: friend codes are one of them, so is the classic layout as opposed to the more "modern" VB...
Considering 4.0.0 was released only eleven days before the start of this decade, and the version we're on is at most a few months old...
Well... it'd take totally trashing the forum theme, the...
As it's third-party BBCode, I'm not sure if there's anything that I can do about it. Presumably the person who created the BBCode isn't accounting for blocked poster checks or something.
Load times seem normal to me. Not sure why you're having this issue.
Ah. It could be this, too. It's definitely using a bit more CPU than normal.
I will try and see if I can find a solution to...
If this were a server-side problem, this would almost always affect everyone. For examples of server-side problems, see "Forums aren't loading." For EVERYONE. Since not EVERYONE is having this...
Don't be an asshole, Kyte. I don't know how many pages of VMs you have, and I sure as shit ain't going to assume "Oh, it could only be recently!"
I could just vaporize all the VMs. That'd solve it...
Clearly it's not in the first three pages then.
Keep digging.
Some posts had some stuff that was tripping up Google's malware code, but we passed the review, so those SHOULD be gone now.
If for some reason they're still popping up, just be patient. They...
If it ever does, won't be run by me. I'm not a fan of either of those places.
That said, #notes on IRCHighway is basically the unofficial "immediate updates" place.
The review succeeded, they should be going away in the next handfuls of hours.
Gotta love how Google clearly did an automated review. They said "Nope, they're still there!"
Why? Because the spammers posted in the F/GO thread... and the thread still exists... so their...
Yeah. Shitty bug.
That said, it says it's fixed in 4.2.3 Beta 3, and I'm pretty sure our version is later than that. If it's still happening, I know 4.2.4 is on Beta 2 right now, but I will wait...
4.2.1 -> 4.2.2
4.2.2 -> 4.2.3 was basically bugfixes. But included among those bugfixes is a bug that we found on this very forum and that they tracked down and squashed.
Nothing too interesting, but some of it tried to redirect towards malware. That's what got us caught up in it.
The malware warnings will persist for up to the next 72 hours, because there's nothing I can do about them. Google has to review the site and make sure we cleaned up all the spam and shit.
Once...
This is correct. [COLOR] colors all the text within its bounds, so put the color stuff first, and then anything else (ruby, size, etc.) within the [COLOR] tagspace.
