Hello.
Hello, I've been a frequent lurker for a few years and have enjoyed a lot of the conversations going on despite not participating in them. A bit of an inspiring author, but it will still be a few years I'd say before I properly write something. I'm mainly interested in the patterns that show up between series and all the lore.
Mostly stick to FGO these days, but I got started with the original FSN VN.
So, hello !
I found this forum about 2 months ago completely by accident, and since I'm a big fan of the concept of Fate I decided to join today on a whim.
I know no one actually cares about this thread, but it's still nice to do it.
Hi-oh. Sort of drifted into the series from the 'I like talking about mythology and the way in which mythology gets adapted into contemporary stories' side of things. While I don't have a formal education in any kind of cultural studies, I'm friends with several PhD students in fields like Mesoamerican history, Celtic Studies and Medieval Norse Studies. I've a particular interest in the Ulster Cycle (blame having an infectiously enthusiastic friend who's currently reading through the entire thing) but I'm also semi-well read in the Finn Cycle and other mythological miscellany.
Hello everyone! I've been interested in BL for a while now, but I've never really found a way to get my foot in the door. I've been a fan of Fate for several years now, having been introduced to it by hanging around my sister while she was watching the Deen adaptation. I've also started taking an interest in other Type-Moon works in the past couple of years, but I have yet to engage with anything other than KnK in any substantial way. I've had an account here for a while, but, again, even calling myself a lurker would be overstating my relationship with this place. That being said, I figure it couldn't hurt to reply to this thread even if nobody looks at it. I'm looking forward to getting along with everyone here.
I go by Marie by the way!
Hello to everyone. I've been frequenting this forum for about a year at this point and have finally decided to make an account. I've never used social media outside of school stuff before, so this forum is actually gonna be the first time I talk with random people online. As such, apologies in advance for anything potentially weird that comes out of me.
I've been with the franchise for about four years and I'm still as invested in anything that TM puts out as I was in the beginning. I still haven't found any other franchise that I find is as weird and complicated, but also genuinely interesting and fun as the Nasuverse. I've watched pretty much all of the Fate anime except DEEN/stay night and Prillya, as well as the KnK movies. Don't play FGO, but I do try to follow the story and anything new that comes out of it. I haven't read any of the VNs or stuff like DDD and notes, but I do intend to change that, hopefully soon. My lore knowledge isn't the best, but after four years of extensive wikidiving (since I'm the type of weirdo to actually enjoy that sort of stuff), I'd like to imagine myself having an okay understanding of the franchise.
The people here seem cool, so I'm gonna do my best to fit in.
I'm aware not a lot of people look at this thread, but this is better than nothing. Looking forward to talking about stuff I read/watch/play, as well as speculate about whatever Nasu has cooking in his little mushroom head with everyone.

Thank you! Happy to be here.
Hi. I am completely new here. Wonderful place, really. Hope to have good times going forward.

Hello.
I haven't been interested in TYPE-MOON stuff until a few months ago, but my friends convinced me to give it a shot and now I'm here. I've started with the Unlimited Blade Works anime and worked my way from there. I've watched all the Kara no Kyoukai movies, and a few Fate entries like Apocrypha, Zero and Lord El-Melloi II's Case Files. I've even played Extella and Extella Link (although they were a bit hard to understand since I haven't played Extra).
I've been thinking about installing Fate/Grand Order, too.
