Is it possible to increase the quality of your magic circuits by training? I distinctly remember Shirou saying that he needed to train his circuits for much more time before he can achieve UBW.
The binding (coercion) part was the forbidden art right? It also said they had specialization with familiars(which may or may not be a facet of binding).Element dictates what you are good at. Attribute determines how your spells operate. The Matou brand sorcery (Attribute) is draining (e.g. Sakura's tentacle drain), and binding (e.g. binding of shadow familiars).
One thing I did want to confirm about information I heard was if absorption was potentially harmful to the caster, because iirc, it was said that the absorption did something to the body when they drained someone.
Probably is a way to increase capacity, which is what you would need for that I'd think. Since it's not about his circuits, he doesn't have the magical energy capacity at the moment to keep it up.

The Attribute itself is "Absorption", but it encompasses the aspect of "Binding" as well. The familiar-wielding is a reflection of the "Binding" aspect.
The example given for "Absorption" is Zouken's vampire life-siphoning activities.
That was referring to training Shirou so that he could pop open all his circuits at the same time. Check the CGs, you can see the effect.

It is the manifestation of "Absorption". In essence, "what goes around, comes around", because you are "absorbing".
Though that seems like it kinda defeats the whole purpose if it comes back to you. So, let's say, if you absorb something from a hybrid, will you take their Inversion Impulse? Or if you do it to Vampires, will you take their Vampirism as well as their energy? Or is it just what you do that effects you as well. Poison for Poison, Drain for Drain, Curse for Curse.

Can Avalon repair Magic Circuits?
Probably. It seems capable of repairing pretty much anything. That said we never see it do so.

Cut circuits are wounds I assume?
It's unknown whether or not Gae Bolg wounds and the like can be healed, though. I kind of doubt it.

I don't think she ever mentioned it again after the "LOL I WILL JUST PATCH THIS UP SO IT LOOKS HEALED BUT IT REALLY IS NOT".
She never gets around to that, she heals Shirou's Gae Bolg wound with it though so in theory it should work.
