If the scabbard was in plain sight during the summoning it's no wonder she saw it
(that only happens in the anime though?)

Well its Saber talking and this makes it so she knows that they used the scabbard to summon her. Or are you saying Saber is claiming the scabbard as a right of kingship kind of deal, like "How dare he say I'm not King Arthur, I used to have Avalon and all that shiz".
A lot of funky things happen when Japanese -> Chinese -> English.
More the latter. The proceeding bit is about Avalon and Excalibur, the things that made up the legend of King Arthur, like it's a thing brought up before, and that Saber's going, "No, I definitely am the one that legend is talking about, why so sexist?"
Localizationing stuff
I remember I went around insisting that Zouken was posing as Kariya's uncle and parroting a line from the translation that said Zouken was listed as "the brother of Kariya's father", but then I saw the Japanese line and it said "the father of Kariya and his brother". Even お父さん became "uncle" somehow.
BAKA-TSUKIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII
And neither of them was Zouken!
DUN DUN DUN!
If the crest worm with the pieces of the grail was what made Sakura a grail vessel, why was she still a vessel after she ripped it out?
Her origin is hole and the mud tried to fill it?
Grail pieces were the worm, dawg.
"Yes. I embedded the Holy Grail within her. But I am no monster. I made sure she can function as a human. I knew it would be painful to have an inorganic substance in her, so I turned the shard of the Holy Grail into a living thing."
With that, her body became a container to receive the souls. It became a tool to become the gate when the ritual is completed.
It is just a copy of the Holy Grail the Einzbern family makes.
Well, I do not have as much skill as them, so I did about an eighth my own way."
He's so proud of himself.
He never sleeps. He never dies.
Battle doesn't need a purpose; the battle is its own purpose. You don't ask why a plague spreads or a field burns. Don't ask why I fight.
I like how Zouken's biggest achievement since creating the Command Spell system that only sometimes works and was trumped by the Einzberns is that he took Einzbern property and...turned it into worms. Such a strange Arch Magus.
Araya, what do you seek?

Blue. No, ora-- Auuuuuuuugh!「青、いや、オレンジイイイイイアアアっ!」
How was it trumped by the Einzberns?

He also figured out a way to bring back a Servant's combat capabilities without its mind, as well as turning the Einzbern's grail into his own mini-grail, in significantly less than ten years.

Yeah I never got that Zombie Caster thing.

It almost makes you wonder if Zouken could have just been collecting dead Servant's over all the Grail Wars and then just uses them as he sees fit.
