Where does the name "Athn Gabla" come from? As in, the skill/spell/whatever. Way to read the four runes? Actually called that in the legends? Bullshit Nasu just made up?

IIRC, its not bullshit, but a place where Cu took a stand, so it got made into a skill of enforcing a death match. Just like some skills and NPs are symbolic, rather than accurate representations.
Looks like a job for Seika to make sure.

You could try the Q/A, just don't be surprised if it isn't answered.

Cúchulainn, who had spent the night with a woman (some say his wife, others say differently), woke up later that morning and when he went out he found the tracks of the passing army.
'I was foolish,' he said to Laeg. 'I have let an army through and gave no warning to Ulster.' Determined and angry at himself, he and Laeg made haste and eventually overtook the advancing force. He settled down at the ford at Áth Gabhla and cut a massive tree-fork with one slice and set it deep in the waters of the ford so no chariot could pass that way. As he was finishing his task the four sons of Urard mac Anchinne came upon him. He cut off their heads and impaled them on the four points of the tree-fork. The chariot horses returned to the armies and the men there saw all the blood on the animals and thought there was a battle-force awaiting them at the river at Áth Gabhla. A company of men were sent to inspect the place, but all they saw was the track-marks of one chariot, the four heads impaled of the tree-fork, and Ogam writing on the side of the fork.
    Name of a place.

Well the Tiger Colosseum scenario my avatar comes from was written by Mashin Eiichirou IIRC, so I'd have to say no.

I was just curious about something, only because I want to make sure I get this part right before I actually plan for certain situations in my writing of a story.

Anyway, how many days are in Tsukihime? I'm planning on doing some writing based in both the Fate franchise and the Tsuki franchise.

...okay, never mind, I meant to say "how many days are in each route of Tsukihime?".

Hmm... this is a bit of a surprise these days.

Note that I don't wish to be seen as an idiot any longer. I can't always promise better works than before, but I can sure as hell try, alright?

Technically true, but incorrect cause and effect. The ford is called 'Ford of the Fork' (that is, Áth nGabla) because Cú Chulainn set up the fork of a tree with runes carved in it there. Large large chunks of the Taín are aetiology/toponymology in this manner.

(To be more strictly accurate, someone probably named Áth nGabla that for whatever actual reason - it's near a fork in the river, a big tree nearby had a noticeable fork in a branch, so on - and then either a story grew up about it or some storyteller picked up on the possibilities and incorporated it into the Cú Chulain legend. But enough of such grounded talk).

Go read the visual novel. Or an LP of it or whatever.

I kinda sorta just googled "ford of the fork cuchulainn" and copy pasted the first thing I found. I know about as much about the Ulster Cycle as I do about underwater basket weaving.

Hey. I checked the document and could not find the answer to a question that I have. This question is in fact, quite common when people discuss the match up of F/Z Berserker vs F/SN Berserker.

Just wondering, but can Arondight (user obviously being Lancelot) take away multiple lives of F/SN Berserker (as did Caliburn) of Hercules's lives or would God Hand kick in after the first kill and render him invincible from dying more than once against him? I still see Hercules winning the fight with supreme stats and all, but I'm wondering if Lancelot actually has a chance of winning this at all since the main problem for him in this matchup seems to be the NP God Hand.

    @Kelnish

Well, we know that it's ranked A++ and is probably ranked higher than Caliburn since it's suppose to be equivalent to Excalibur (as the other sword from the lake).

Hello Beast's Lair. I generally prefer to find the information I seek on my own, even if I have to spends a fair amount of time searching this forum or venture amongst the japanese sites with my trusted translator, but this one left me a bit stumped.
I'm seeking a source for the quote in question:
The Pegasus itself is close to tanking Excalibur, this is a sentiment Nasu expressed during the interview (the Pegasus Rush in Fate was not retard charge on Rider's part, it was a close one). Rho Aias is something that helped to tip the scale.
Which interview is food talking about? I've searched for awhile but food's comment is the only thing that express this opinion. The most common opinion is that Rho Aias defended against one third of the Excaliblast (45 for Rho Aias, 100 for Bellerophon). This is more than tipping the scales.

I thought Rho Aias offset like 10% at most, but can't claim I can recall a source for that aside from how I read the Wikia.

Best I could find on Google is, of all things, a Spacebattles debate whether Rider can beat Itachi incorporating food by reference: http://forums.spacebattles.com/threa....248482/page-5 . Though it makes some decent points on the matter.

In the VN, it states that Rho Aias and Bellerophon combined was able to beat Excalibur but that it barely did so, only about 10% of Bellerophon's strength got through after the clash of NPs.

Essentially all we know is Rho Aias and Bellerophon combined barely beat Excalibur while Excalibur is better than both individually.

We can start discussing stats but that's going a bit far.
