Well its not pain tolerance or battle duration, I can tell you that much.
Shirou!Saber and EMIYA had C-rank endurance and B-rank mana while Lancelot had A-rank endurance and C-rank mana.
There is no relation.
That's the part that confused me. I was assuming that Mana was a cross between an HP and MP bar. :P

It seems stupid for it to be a HP bar because MGI already does that. It doesn't seem to just be body toughness or Alter and Lancelot having A rank makes no sense. So I'd hazard a guess it's probably some strange hybrid of armor+body toughness, maybe with a slight amount of HP too.

What's wrong with them having A rank? They do better with taking damage than pretty much any other Servant save those with Battle Continuation and defensive Noble Phantasms. MGI probably just lets you heal your HP after you take damage anyway.

She has C-rank with Shirou. And every stat rank is decreased, not just combat ones. It has nothing to due with wasting mana with each swing its about Shirou being a shit master.
