I wouldn't say GB was a NP during lancer's time since Scathach was still alive and not a HS yet.
Yeah this is what I mean by Fraga-like. You're inheriting the NP basically. It'd be like if I found Gae Dearg and started stabbing stuff with it. It would be a NP but like it wasn't always a NP.
It's not like the weapon was inherently a NP though.
Even if something is the inherent trait of the weapon it can still become a NP. Which it is said that there is a ton of limited function mystic codes that became NPs.-The original weapons are not just lumps of steel, they have their own concepts. Striking Death Flight is not an "original feat" of Lancer's, so any chump picking up Gilgamesh's proto-Gae Bolg will fire something like Striking Death Flight.
The proto-types won't be able to recreate feats they achieved in the hands of later day heroes, they will only be able to do "what they are made to do".

-Well, it is not enough with just "Mcjon01 did something totally awesome with Gae Bolg".
It has to be "Mcjon01 did something totally awesome with Gae Bolg, food wrote a ballad about the feat, the whole Internet started to sung about the ballad and Mcjon01's feat".
Then maybe Mcjon's trick with Gae Bolg can become an actual Noble Phantasm.
The ultimate purpose of NP is to recreate the feat in tales and legends.

Wasn't Excalibur made as a Last Phantasm from the get go by the fae? Kinda like how the gods gave Perseus five nps to kill rider?
We don't know what a Last Phantasm means. We assume it means its fucking stronk. But we know stuff like Crown Phantasms are also better than NPs.

Like the deal which Richard. His beamu right now is ×××××勝利の剣. So assuming that it isn't Promised Sword of Victory and it's something else. His NP, his beamu, wouldn't have been a NP at the time he fought DAs because it isn't Promised Sword of Victory, Saber's NP, and probably no one else before him made that beamu into a NP. So it shouldn't be a problem taking down DAs at that time.

Because Nasu really, really, really likes the word phantasm.
^^Honestly, that's probably it.

Crown Phantasm is a thing.
Gods can have Noble Phantasms as well. Like Enkidu is supposed to be a Noble Phantasm of the gods.

Archer's UBW is and isn't a NP at the same time. It's what he calls his NP but it isn't exactly a NP.

Someone's going to complain about spoilers.
The priest was waiting for the arrival of the princess, who was only an enemy of all of them.
For the priest, the golden princess was the one and only main heroine.
Everyone else was unworthy of his respect, no matter how strong they were.
