Though abandoned, forgotten, and scorned as out-of-date dolls, they continue to carry out their mission, unchanged from the time they were designed.
Machines do not lose their worth when a newer model appears.
Their worth (life) ends when humans can no longer bear that purity.
At least in the hundreds, then?
Probably.
Huddled masses, poor blood, yearning to conduct prana free, etc.
I think they're sizable enough that seceding was noteworthy, but not enough that anyone would've cared absent the Grail and an open challenge to Association pride. 'At least' hundreds might be pushing it for actual separate clans, personally, but I'd guess its a good ballpark estimate.

What happened to Byakuya Matou?
I think Kerry just shot him in the hand or something. And he just dies on his own a few years later
Linger: Complete. August, 1995. I met him. A branch off Part 3. Mikiya keeps his promise to meet Azaka, and meets again with that mysterious girl he once found in the rain.
Shinkai: Set in the Edo period. DHO-centric. As mysterious figures gather in the city, a young woman unearths the dark secrets of the Asakami family.
The Dollkeeper: A Fate side-story. The memoirs of the last tuner of the Einzberns. A record of the end of a family.
Overcount 2030: Extra x Notes. A girl with no memories is found by a nameless soldier, and wakes up to a world of war.
He died sometime in the 3 years before FSN.

Question: I didnt know much since mostly its still in moon runes, but in FGO, arent the guys at Chaldea, effectively, is doing time travel? Aka an aspect to that of Fifth Magic, using a combination of science and magecraft?
How is that possible? I mean, I thought True Magic is a deed unachieveable using 'human' method such as that.
Science.
Magic is only Magic until it isn't.
The priest was waiting for the arrival of the princess, who was only an enemy of all of them.
For the priest, the golden princess was the one and only main heroine.
Everyone else was unworthy of his respect, no matter how strong they were.

So about Fate/Prototype. As far as I know, it was an old version of the later-to-be Fate/SN. They did an animation OVA, cool. However, what is the role fo F/P fragments of blue and silver? Is it a novelization of Fate/Prototype, a prequel to Fate/Prototype, both... ? =/

its the Fate/Zero of prototype, except this time they released it first to stifle "which one should be read first" arguments
