Atlas supposed to have existed before the common era (>2000 years old). Together with the Sea of Astray, Atlas is supposed to precede the Association.
Many Founders of Association were supposed to be magi who were shunted or exiled from Atlas and the Sea of Astray.
Atlas is in Egypt, Sea of Astray is in Northern Europe.

2000 is roughly the start of FSN (the fifth), and ten years ago came F/Z (the sixth), so that was in 1990.
Each Grail War before then went back sixty years, so 1930, 1870, 1810.
