I'd suggest that the most widely known Chinese martial art would be "kung fu", though I'm not sure if that quite works because its Chinese meaning is more general, and doesn't refer to any specific school, or even martial arts in general. (Which makes the question of what matters more-- what people think it means, or what it really means)

    - - - Updated - - -

(As in, when people think of Chinese martial arts, I'm generally sure they think of "kung fu". Even if that's not even any specific art)

and Urobuchi's comments in some of the notes were "kung fu is amazing. wow so amazing" after marathoning old action films to give himself inspiration for Zero.

Baji stuff isn't in a lot of movies actually. I think one of the more recent ones where it's prominently featured is Man of Tai Chi, even though it's kind of a crappy movie. Keanu Reeves uses it in the final duel.

True Magic is stuff that achieves a result science can't get, and that's why almost everything in the AoG was True Magic, right?

    No,

True Magic is something that humanity nor the world can't accomplish. AoG magecraft wasn't true magic.

I mean humanity might accomplish it in some alternate reality, I mean that's what Nasuverse is about "humanity being super awesome" but at least in Notes we know that aint the case.

It's more that it wasn't really a concept to them

Oh I wasn't talking about why they never considered the difference between them. What with being so close to the root as they were. Just that AoG magecraft was never actually MAGIC

True Magic. This is a different mystery than magery. Magi call the events that are unachievable by magery and science in that age True Magic. If that event could be achieved by time and resources, then no matter the difficulty, that event will not be seen as True Magic.
When the civilization of mankind was still young, all magery had been True Magic. But along with the advancement of science, the number of things that "could be done" by people had increased, and in exchange, True Magic diminished.

yeah back in the day AOG magecraft was Magic.
Today AOG magecraft is AOG magecraft which is equivalent to Magic in terms of effects.
AOG Magecraft back in the day was never "the five Magics of the modern era"

Even if there are 5 True Magics of the Modern Era, there can be more than 5 True Magics in the modern era.

Like the Sixth that Wallachia tried to prevent, is actually the 6th Magic. Dust said it in in one of the MBAA routes, though I can't remember which one.
The priest was waiting for the arrival of the princess, who was only an enemy of all of them.
For the priest, the golden princess was the one and only main heroine.
Everyone else was unworthy of his respect, no matter how strong they were.

No, that's still speculation at this point. The logic of that is:
Wallachia is challenging the 6th Law.
Osiris calls Aoko the person who obtained the 5th Law.
Law in this case is 法
    Magic is 魔法
Because of these two pieces of evidence people speculate that the Sixth is the Sixth Magic.
    But, it's still speculation.

I'm certain she just calls it the 第六法 which may or may not be magic but is definitely frustratingly vague.

Was it ever specified why puppet masters/golem creators are more intrinsically interested in reaching the origins of man rather than the root?

Because they are already like 90% of the way to a working sex bot business and they need the origin of man for the last "thrust" as it were.

once they cross the uncanny valley completely they can just wait till they have so much money they can just buy the root.

    It's the same thing.

The origin of man is just another approach to the root. Touko chose puppetry in order to pursue that road, and Araya chose the human soul, but in the end they both sought the same thing.

Humanity did okay in Notes. Sure they're fucked, but at least they tried.
