I'd suggest that the most widely known Chinese martial art would be "kung fu", though I'm not sure if that quite works because its Chinese meaning is more general, and doesn't refer to any specific school, or even martial arts in general. (Which makes the question of what matters more-- what people think it means, or what it really means)

Baji stuff isn't in a lot of movies actually. I think one of the more recent ones where it's prominently featured is Man of Tai Chi, even though it's kind of a crappy movie. Keanu Reeves uses it in the final duel.

.True Magic. This is a different mystery than magery. Magi call the events that are unachievable by magery and science in that age True Magic. If that event could be achieved by time and resources, then no matter the difficulty, that event will not be seen as True Magic.
When the civilization of mankind was still young, all magery had been True Magic. But along with the advancement of science, the number of things that "could be done" by people had increased, and in exchange, True Magic diminished.
