Can Mages fly?
:3
IIRC it's an option that comes with Realta Nua, if you want to skip the H-scenes. Instead of sex, you have
In Fate, Shirou running away from a dragon inside Saber (kinda like the anime).
In UBW, the aforementioned LCD trip with Rin's magical aquarium of crystal dolphins.
In HF, Sakura going ON NOM NOM on Shirou's finger.
That should be it, I'm not 100% sure.
Hope Rides With His Godly Ronin/Cowboy Brother In Law
An average magus can (re-)create the Sun.
Discuss.
/ not serious
Oh, it's not the 'celestial body' type of star.
At least, I hope not.
*Suddenly imagines Rin doing FMA Finale's 'with my current power, it's no difficult task to create a sun in the palm of my hand'
<Satehi> I, satehi, thought of tentacles first for entirely inappropriate, disgusting, lewd and perverted reasons
Honk
How is flying not beneficial?
Attack enemies from the sky with impunity(Caster).
More maneuverability.
A viable retreat tactic.
Travel to another country without having to deal with the cumbersome security check points.
etc.
Accumulate Mysteries from local rumors 'A Magical Girl is in town'.
Atlas Alchemist can probably create a sun in the palm of their hands...

Tbh, this "flight" is probably the impractical one. As in slowass levitation type of "flight", not the "I am now a human bird"-type of flight.
At least "flight without a broom". Though flight with a broom may possess the same weaknesses, tbh. Or the prana cost might be stupidly high for it to be worth it.
It's the same as a capitalist system. Buy low, and sell high. But if you buy too high or sell too low, then the profit becomes negligible to what you put into it in the first place. That is, you won't make enough to actually profit, and would otherwise spend that money making up for what you lost and little else.

Didn't Rin or someone also say something about how even though it's possible to enchant a broom to fly, it's infinitely more practical to use a chair due to ease of use?
Or am I thinking of a quote from a different setting?
