But the question is like, if your origin is void, does that thus mean your element is void? If so, wouldn't that be similar to saying you have no element?

"Void" in Nasuverse is not "haha nothing", so it doesn't mean "you are good for nothing".

Remember the "finite infinity" and "infinite infinity" part in KnK? "Void" has some serious philosophical implications, and you know things with serious philosophical implications are God-tier in Nasuverse.

There's "虚", "空", "無", "虚無", and "「　」". They all loosely mean "void".

I mentioned shirou as a magus who didnt start with a hell of a lot and worked himself up by getting good at the crap he was able to do.

But he didn't work for his unusual element.
Look, Shirou with an usual element like "fire" would never ascend to the level of a mediocre magus because of his terrible training methods. It's just that what he does with his hax originis so incredibly impressive that it makes him strong.
Shirou should not be taken as an example for something like that. Even Aoko fits that probably better than Shirou, because I don't think her circuit is some kind of "supercircuit", it's just her skill at being incredibly efficient with it that makes her dangerous.

The game doesn't show one I don't think. I would kind of assume not because he has one in the normal home phone location in his house, and installing one in a dojo where you're supposed to be clearing your mind for do-art training is counterproductive.
