But he became a DAA as a result of his conflict with Brunestud of Crimson Moon, who was the primordial Dead Apostle Ancestor. If the very existence of Dead Apostle Ancestors is excluded in Fate works, Zelretch's story seems to be extremely incomplete there.
Have you considered the possibility of there being only one Zel in the entire bunch of parallel worlds?

It's not an existence or anything. Like Primate Murder is called a DAA also ORT.
And Brunestud isn't the "primordial DAA" or whatever. The name DAA was made after him and was applied to him.
Either way DAA is just a name some of these 27 decided to call themselves in on branch of the universe. It's not actually that meaningful other than for bullying Roa.
And DAA's like Zepia, Gransurg, and Riza exist in Fate worlds, they're just not called DAAs and different stuff happened to them.
