I'm just spitballing here, even if I do believe 99.9999...% that Francesca was referring to Zouken.
On a semi-related note, since Francesca said the Zolgen were from Kiev, wouldn't that make them Ukrainian magi as opposed to Russian magi by the 16th century? I'm pretty sure the region by then was considered a "Ukraine" separate from "Russia", at the time centered in Muscovy and Novgorod.
This was after his first fightBlood covered his body. Most of his capillaries have exploded. Blood slowly flowed non-stop from the cracked parts of his skin.
A long time ago, Kariya once saw the victim of a nuclear power plant explosion struggle against disease. Right now, his appearance and situation was no different than the victim prior to his death. His body of flesh has already been destroyed. But there are Crest Worms spread across Kariya’s body. Its magecraft extended his lifespan and allowed him to wiggle.
Kariya cannot believe that his body was reduced to this state. When he supplied prana to Berserker, he felt as if the worms had already devoured his entire body.
I don't think Francesca who is basically like Narita's super OP ebil OC whose dueled against all the Nasuverse big big shots would think someone in this state is "a threat" even with Lancelot

Q: Where did the Makiri clan originally emigrate from?
A: It’s said that they came from somewhere around Russia.
It's the classic Nasu wiggle

Again, I was just spitballing, not seriously contemplating it, though the idea of Kariya being an accidental savior is funny. In all seriousness, I know it was definitely Zouken.

Makes sense. Despite all his research on legends, it only makes sense that a VN author doesn't have an exact grasp of historical/cultural geography.
Well in one of the first popularity polls he said that Zouken was from Western Europe.
And then in cm3 he said somewhere around Russia
So atlease with the Kiev thing its less of a wtf than the first thing

I learned it from Dr. Cox.

Where did they say about Excalibur having seals similar with the Proto version?
On that matter, did they tell how many seals/output used in FSN?
Well the most obvious one is in her second interlude, which is all about unlocking a seal.
Localizationing stuff
Wow really, didn't know that. From the way you say it, there is another source?
There's a throwaway line about seals a couple of times in FSN, the one that I can recall off the top of my head is the first time in Fate against Rider.

Thanks a lot! I swear I just skim reading FSN again a month ago now I must do another.
There's also Lancer Seiba's level 5 Bond or something
Even with thirteen restraints limiting its proper power, the radiance of the planet shines on gloriously and overwhelmingly, through this pillar at world’s end…
The main body of the holy spear Rhongomyniad is a ‘pillar of light’ that binds the surface layer of the world. Via the same process of placing it under thirteen restraints, liken to those on the ‘holy sword of world salvation’, the holy spear can just barely take form as a Noble Phantasm.
So, can puppet Shirou post-HF true ending procreate?
