Considering that Servants themselves have and are magic circuits (魔力回路) while magi magic circuits are called (魔術回路). Divine Spirits being made from True Ether would meet the criteria for the former as well.
So I guess my position would be Divine Spirits are able to channel magical energy and you can call it a magic circuit but it's different from a magus magic circuit.

What do mages who become Heroic Spirits have? Just the first kind?

Alright, so I'm new here, but I'm a longtime fan of Nasu's work. Now, I'm here because I've ended up in an argument with a friend of mine involving Sakura, and we're at a stalemate as neither of us can find sources to support our sides, and I'm hoping you guys could possibly help. The points of contention between us are:
    1. Whether or not Sakura is barren.
    2. Whether the Crest Worms would/did eat Sakura's uterus.
    3. What Zouken's purpose in adopting Sakura into the Matou family was.
If you guys could help (and provide citations/sources) to settle this, I would greatly appreciate it. *bow*

The lust worms will wet the woman's skin with their mucus, excite and destroy her central nerves of pleasure, and satisfy their hunger.
It must be their instincts, as the worms seem to love the woman's womb. They do not eat female flesh, but seek the organs within them.

They give the woman huge enough orgasms to fry her brain, and they go into her body to devour her placenta.
Unwilling to eat human flesh, the worms have only one way to get what they desire.
As a result, the woman's mind and body are completely violated and destroyed.
The name "lust worm" must come from such characteristics.

"The return of the 60-year-cycle is for the next year. But for the fourth Holy Grail War, the fourth Heaven's Feel, there will be no player from the Matōs.

Byakuya doesn’t have the prana level for a Servant. He really doesn't even have the Command Seals.

But even if we must desist for this battle, there is a chance for the next one in 60 years. There is no doubt that an excellent user can be born from the daughter of the Tōsaka. I have high expectations for this as a good vessel."
Also if the Lust Worms make someone barren. Then why would Zouken expect to get a heir out of Sakura?

One of the arguments was that he wanted to use Sakura as a host body/planned on using her as a Lesser Grail in 50 years to bypass the Einzbern's Lesser Grail so he could steal the wish at the end of the War.

With that, her body became a container to receive the souls. It became a tool to become the gate when the ritual is completed.
It is just a copy of the Holy Grail the Einzbern family makes.
Well, I do not have as much skill as them, so I did about an eighth my own way."

    He laughs.
    …Copying Einzbern?
All he did was pick up a piece of a finished product and implant it within Sakura…!

"…You bastard! You can't make a Holy Grail, so you used a human being to make an imitation of the Holy Grail…!?"

"Experiment. It's just an experiment, heir to Emiya.
This experiment is merely a stepping stone to the next. My plan was to slowly change her to something like a Holy Grail over several decades.
It was supposed to be an experiment of Makiri's Holy Grail which lives as a human but still has the function to collect souls."

    "Sakura is an experiment…?"
Sure, that was his experiment after he found a piece of Iri. But like that and Sakura's reproductive health don't really have anything to do with one another.
You can still be a Grail and pop out an gud heir. Two birds one stone.

Came up on this while browsing the vs thread.
Q: What do the Quality/Quantity/Composition of Regression to the Age of Gods mean in Beowulf's profile? Do Ploys, Arcueid, and Heroic Spirits have such designations? And what would their number be?

A: Regression to the Age of Gods represents the extend at which they are capable of reproducing the Mysteries that existed on Earth before True Magic. Consider it to be like that, their own style of Magical Circuits. Quality represents "how distant from what humans are capable of" their pure Mysteries are. Quantity represents power. The higher the quantity, the greater the degree of influence over the surrounding environment. Since Beowulf only has a quantity of C, he can only display his power to an individual, or over a village.
Composition represents the era of the "Mystery". In terms of magecraft, it would be like Rune, Kabbalah, Black Magic and such.
Ploys are not of Age of Gods, so they cannot be assigned a number in Regression to the Age of Gods.
For Arcueid... Princess Arcueid should qualify. "Quality: B Quantity: A++ Composition: Before Common Era, pseudo-deified natural phenomenon

    Laeticia:
Looked nearly identical to Jeanne, so there's no case of not seeing what the HS is really supposed to look like
Wasn't really ever in control (even though Jeanne wants to think so regarding her emotions bla bla), so there's not really a case of conflicting personalities
It's all Jeanne's powers because Laeticia is just some chick, there's no case of not getting to see what the HS can do (except very specific things)
Laeticia is, from a meta-pov, an original character made specifically for the need to gimp Jeanne and relate to a certain plot-point

    Other pseudos:
Looks like their hosts instead of the HS, with only some design elements from the HS slapped on, so you'll never get to see what the HS is supposed to look like
A lot of the time the host is either in control or there's a mix of personalities, so you don't get to see what the HS is really like (and in the case that the HS is completely in control, you could argue why they even bothered)
FGO pseudos mix abilities a lot between host and HS, some times making completely new things possible and some times making others not possible, so you don't get to see what the HS alone is capable of
Pseudos in FGO are, from a meta-pov, not designed specifically to cater to a certain plot-point (even if they are involved in the plot), and hosts are chosen specifically to cater to an older audience who want their favorite characters to appear in the game

That is, FGO pseudos are (mostly) a matter of fanservice in the form of older TM-original characters being implemented without being designed with plot relevance in mind, and while simultaneously taking up the position of a HS who you'll now never see in their proper form. Laeticia!Jeanne was designed around plot relevance (more or less), and still showcases Jeanne in what basically amounts to her full person.

Basically that. I don't dislike Mash, for instance, but I'd rather have gotten a Nasu take on Galahad proper.

Mash is honestly the best take on the whole thing, IMO. She serves a purpose beyond cute knight kohai fanservice, and her circumstances are played for drama.

I would've been fine with pseudos if it wasn't blatantly obvious that they did it for fanservice. Even the room lines are affected by that.

a question for the actual experts of this forum:

in the same way that the einzberg's relationship with the cursed gold was alluded to in FSN before being explained in FGO, is there any passage in FSN or FZ that hints at the connection of the Matous or any other family to the Demon Pillars?
