Do the knights (and Artoria) know about it?
I forget if it was Holmes or Goredolf but someone during the big Vivian/Morgan infodump scene says it's the reason they never just killed Morgan, since it would also rob them of their ally Vivian, so yeah they knew.

Literally all the Knights we've seen so far are brothers in some way, except for Bedivere. The Round Table was always full of nepotism but goddamn Nasu.

After Roland got rejected by a girl he really liked Astolfo crossdressed to cheer him up as a joke. But then afterward he started taking a liking to it so kept doing it.
5/12 Round Tablers are Morgan's children, and 4 of those are in-game (damnit Nasu, playable Agravain when)
