Has some Nasu statement confirmed that the red shadow in Mahoyo is a Counter Guardian or is that just an assumption that most agree on?

What exactly is the reasons behind the name Fate/Stay Night? I know that there's a chapter that goes by that exact name in the Fate route, and a friend said that it was probably the one that came up first alphabetically or something and they just got so used to seeing the names so stuck with it, but I like to think there's a deeper meaning. On a related note, do we know what Fate/Prototype's name originally was?
My personal headcanon is still that name Fate/stay Night is because the Fate route is about Saber's decision to give up on undoing her past, and thus ultimately stay kNight.

It's just the exact type of English misconversion that would lead someone to put the name Altria in a product.
My head cannon has always been, because the Holy Grail War always ends at dawn.
Yah.
I always assumed the Stay Night was referring to the H scenes. Stay (over for the) night.

Started Legend of the Galactic Heroes (14/07/23), pray for me.
It's actually Fate/Sauté Night, and it's referring to Sakura's cooking.
Fate/Sauté kNight it is then.
It's the moment Shirou meets Saber synthesized through terrible English.
Time stood still in the night of fate. Fate stay night.
It's clearly a reference to the Fate cooking anime.

Battle doesn't need a purpose; the battle is its own purpose. You don't ask why a plague spreads or a field burns. Don't ask why I fight.
The only spinoff that's truly loyal to the spirit of the original.
Obviously it was just foreshadowing this the entire time. Soon we will learn that it is actually the fourth route in FSN and Angra has them all trapped in a dream.
Are there a set number of philosophy keys? Or can you create a philosophy key? And how is it related to taoist arts? More specifically to internal alchemy? I mean Philosophy magecraft really sound incompatible with taoist alchemy even thought it's mainly based on taoism? I know we don't know much, but my head is hurting trying to understand how philosophy magecraft work. I'm not an expert, but the concept of philosophy key seems really random as a mean to access Taoism arts compared to the IRL way.

Sample size too small.
At the meta level it serves the same purpose as a crest. Access to a library.
A smarter man than I once said that if magecraft is the pursuit of knowledge, then the accumulation of magecraft is simply the creation of libraries.
The differences between the eastern and western systems are how those libraries are curated and permission is distributed.

Okay, so basically there are still studies of magecarft in orient. But whereas the western way is to connect through the foundations carved in the leylines, the eastern way is to connect through their giant mystic code / pseudo-root. But we can still assume one must study and develop some kind of magecraft right? For example, the "pursuit of knowledge" is still something for Taoist. But I guess it's by developing their keys and making them have access to a greater part of the library? Knowledge is in the library, and the key is the tool that one must develop to get more of it?
Or am I absolutely wrong, and it's just "take this key, you have access to those spells now, meditation and Taoist arts are bullshit just use the key bro".

Did you play Xu Fu's event?

Its the same method as Western magecraft. Research is building new functions out of existing formulae/spells or as food used to say "you layer on enough attributes to make what you want to happen." Eastern magecraft just happens to use the same programming language.Listening to this insanity threw me so off myself that I can't even think about whether or not I understood it.
"Hey, wait a second. Did you just mention Mystic Codes fused with a planet? Which planet exactly are we talking about?"
"Our planet, which else? That's the Philosophy Foundation, a Supergiant Mystic Code fused with Earth."
Rin hopped up a hill.
"It's a pretty basic principle, but you'd be surprised by the amount of people who never heard about it even in the Clock Tower's New Age classes. I mean, it has barely anything in common with the magecraft we study. Actually, no... our teacher would probably call them the same in how they use spells as formulas to construct Mystery. He's very nitpicky when scoring tests."
I could almost see the Professor's figure in the background. I might be going insane, but I'll save that thought for later.
"Excuse me, could you put that in simpler terms?"
"The gist of it is that while the mages in the West use all sorts of foundations for their magecrafts, the Philosophy Mages stick to the Philosophy Foundation. That's all."
Remember in case files vol 1 where Luvia has to switch to a Kabbalistic understanding of the world to do her divination in Adra.

The summer camp event? If so, I didn't, but I guess I'll go check it out if there's some juicy lore about nasuverse's Taoism.
Oooh okay, I think I get it, thanks. Still, it sounds like the system of philosophy key is a lot more limited comparing to the magic crest one. Since from what I understand, your key has a set number of spells which it can have access, whereas a magic crest can store a new spell in his magic crest for the next generation.
Also can you learn philosophy magecraft without a philosophy key? In the same way a western mage can learn some spell even if it isn't in their magic crest?
