Not anything, per se, but the creatures who're 'mysterious' in nature, aka Phantasmal Species.
As for the source, I once read somewhere in KnK, something about a mage imbuing lesser spirits to the point of them gaining Mystery on par with Elementals, thus capable of performing their feat. Can't remember the rest, sorry.
How old is Matou Zouken, Any rough estimates of when he was born? I need to know for potential fanfiction reasons.
Day 3092 and Counting of Asking "Avenger John Brown When Lasengle ?"
In the forefront of the battle,
All is struck down by you—
O winged Lady, Like a bird
You scavenge the land.
Like a charging storm, You charge,
Like a roaring storm, You roar,
You thunder in thunder, Breath in rampaging winds.
Your feet are continually restless.
Carrying your harp of sighs, You breathe out the music of mourning.
Iirc I think we’re meant to infer that Zouken prolonging his life through bug shit only started after he got together with the other families to try and do the 3rd Magic stuff, which started roughly 500 years ago or so. So he’s around 500 years old, little bit older than that actually.
Edit: I’m stupid and thought the Fuyuki Grail War started 500 years ago because I was reading over my sources in a rush, ignore that lol. He was already like 200 by the time he met Justeaze and Crew.

Over 500 is about all we know. He knows people from the 15th century, so probably around there.
Goddamm. I knew he was significantly old, but I thought he would be like from the 18th or 19th century

Does anyone remember a quote in which the Holy Church/Christianity/God is directly associated with the Human Order and/or the establishment of the Age of Man?
I know there's a lot that could be inferred just from their role in Tsukihime, the timeframe of the switch to the Age of Man, etc. What I'm thinking of is a specific quote of a character pointing it out. I think it was Holmes, but I'm not sure.
I remember either Mario or Noel in Tsukihime describing the Church's goal as not allowing any prime species other than mankind.
And then there's this bit in Zelretch's profile.
Zelretch, on account of having been alive since before the Common Era, is friendly with the Natural Spirits known as the True Ancestors, and often provides them with counsel:
"Kishua, hey, listen. You know that ‘Christianity’ thing humans are doing among each other? What’s that? A new type of magecraft system?"
"That’s a detailed Manual to Mankind’s Prosperity. It will one day even turn out to be a best-seller. Well, it’s for the best if you don’t know much about it. You'd probably lose your minds."
"I see, I'll trust your word on it. By the way, I'd like to try a bit of that wine they make in Bourgogne. Could you get some?"
That bit from Zelretch's profile is exactly what I was thinking of! No idea how my head involved Holmes in it.
Thanks Comun
Just as Roa-Ciel is about to finally execute Arcueid, "Unidentified Ancestor" saves her from Roa-Ciel. Can somebody tell me who this guy is?
Question for people who got into fate visual novel blind..how many of you guessed true identity of archer?
Guessed at which point? Because they make it pretty obvious right before the reveal.
IIRC I realized it when he worries about Taiga after she's attacked by Caster.
I remember I wanted to look up the name of his swords or something because I'd forgotten, and I googled and the first sentence that pops up, from the wiki of course, was some shit like "[...] the swords of Heroic Spirit EMIYA". So yeah, I didn't get to guess.
I remember being convinced until very late in UBW route that he was some sort of amalgamation of lesser heroes which was why he had the weapons of different pantheons.

I honestly don't remember if I knew or not. I was spoiled for a lot of things but don't recall if that was one of them.

Somehow despite all the things I was spoiled on though one thing I wasn't was Kirei being Cu's Master.
I guessed it when it was spelled out for me, I spent far too long trying to think up which historical/mythical character could fit, especially given what Cú looks like.
