Regardless of what they were back then, nowadays, they are not legally recognized, right, like how the DHO used to be regarded as heroes, but the ones who continue to do work nowadays are just specialized assassins?

But yeah, they only have rules about magic because they're a magical trade union and it's not their job to legislate gay marriage and shit.

They're s e c r e t so why on earth would they be legally recognized in the explicit form of 'Mages' Association'?

It's not a transnational shadow state or anything like that, just a secret society. Like freemasons.

Freemasons are pretty un-secret, as it is. Their rituals, however, are shrouded in mystère.

Pretty sure that most RL trade guilds are not secret and are beholden to most RL tax laws.

The true threat to the Association isn't Solomon, it's getting taken down for a millennia of tax evasion.

Yeah but the Clock Tower is just the British Museum, so nobody's breaking the law, take it up with the museum administrators if you have a complaint.

Do we know anything about Nasuverse werewolves? For instance, are they humans cursed to change into beasts? Magicians who can change shape at will? An actual separate species (and in that case, are they phantasmal beasts)?

  20. #118020
Isn't Berserker in Fragments a werewolf? Not sure if he counts as a true werewolf since as Assassin he doesn't have the wolf form so to say.
If he does count as a werewolf than shouldn't that mean werewolves aren't phantasmal species, since iirc there aren't any phantasmal beasts that are also Heroic Spirits.
