Achilles has Goddess' Affection which gives him a rank up in everything, does that mean his shown stats are a result of the permanent rank up, or that he's always operating with an extra rank of stats than the shown ones except in the Thunderdome?

I would think the stats we see already has the Rank up taken into account, like Mad Enhancement
"Only in my company, will you not be a monster"
anywhere than here
Yeah it's passive stats up so it should be like ME
Since EX is supposed to be "off the scale", if you applied a rank downgrade to it, would it become A-rank because of the conceptuality of "rank order", or would it stay EX because it's the numerical value of a rank that's subtracted?
Well Enuma Elish is A++ in FGO before interlude.
I assume it would be case by case. Not all EX rank NPs are equal. I imagine some are closer to A rank than others.
Depends on the situation too. If you're fighting an army, something like Ea is much more useful than the Inexhaustable Bale, but if I'm planning a dinner party, I know which one I'd rather have. Still Ea
Ea would be a nice party trick tho
"Hey, Steve, do that thing where you unmake and remake the world before our very eyes!"
Yeah, I've been to worse parties.

question for the japanese speakers.
i have heard that on top of having regeneration, the main enemies in Shimousa can bring you into this weird spade/dimension.
is there anything notewothy about that dimension?
Everything about Shimousa's very existence is not common to other singularities anyway, since you're in essence recreating a couple of different stories while dreamwalking, so "what they do" is pretty much irrelevant compared to "what they represent."

its basically the same thing as was it you who asked earlier about the sword Muramasa gives to Musashi? It does stuff, but whether its metaphorical or literal is sort of up for interpretation.

My guess is that it has something to do with the soul reaping business the eirei kengou is doing, but we didnt really got anything specific
The description really sounds like badass narration

Well at the very least the Sword cuts karma.
Hm...two character interactions have been popping on my mind as 'what if' summons happened.
Kariya Matou summons Caster, Aka Medea of Colchis. She'd probably approve of his goal to save Sakura, her values would demand some retribution from family giving away family to that worm-ridden corpse even if there was ignorance in the decision.
Mordred and Kiritsugu. Ugh, Kairi was everything that Kiritsugu wasn't. It'd probably be worse than Saber and Kiritsugu's bare bone interactions, Irisviel would be the only thing holding back Mordred from slaugthering Kiritsugu on the spot.
