Not really, you have to wait for the signal to reach your arms, include the rate at which muscles move, and then account for the dip in speed due to air resistance and other assorted factors.

I think that's a confusion of the terms here.

My arm move to my thought, but it certainly doesn't move at 100 m/s.

That is to say, "move at the speed of thought" is a predicate that refers to a specific value, so it's saying, "X moves at that value."

If you're trying to figure out the F-15's speed then just maneuvering killed the F-15's original pilot from pure G Force.

Hence rough estimate. But even figuring that, you can't really say what's the maximum linear acceleration is from that...

You need like 20 G's at a constant rate to kill yourself.

Most of the time in even the more dangerous maneuvers it still is about 7-10 G's. A roller coaster in comparison is about 4-5 I think. To knock yourself out (in a jet) 12? At about 4G's though you start losing vision. A person without special/pilot suits probably would get knocked out with 6.

20G's would instantly kill you (which is what happened to the JSDF pilot) and most likely liquify some of your organs.

Oh yeah, it was an instant kill. If I remember right, normal humans black out at around 7 under sustained conditions, pilots can keep slightly higher for longer, but are still going to black out. Instant death, I don't know. Not that the Gs that it can pull really tells us much, though. *sigh*

Pretty much. Whatever "speed of thought" is, it's supposed to be movement that breaks the laws of physics.

Going by intuition, normal arm waving is probably not going to approach speeds of 221 m/s... although I may be horribly wrong, since I actually haven't done any measurements to test this out yet.

I know what speed is (I still appreciate your searching), but "speed of thought" has no clear definition, because it can mean the time it takes to imagine something, to finish a logical calulation or the time it takes to move your arm.

I was thinking more along the lines of the speed of electron transmission through brain cells.

Oh? Is that very different from the speed of normal thought?

I'm not very familiar with the side effects of drinking, but I'm not sure if inebriation causes an decrease in neural transmission speed.
