I honestly have actually never been entirely certain if luck actually did anything besides screw up gae bolg and other similar phantasms or it worked more like DND luck.
Hmmm....well, musing out loud, given how all the other stats have turned out to be more basic and literal then we had thought, I am inclined to think the latter maybe.
Edit: FWIW saber's luck makes her an epic card shark, according to HA, so that lends credence to the idea.

Right, but the possibility has to be there. Like if you are say, lancer (4th, 5th either work) and can dodge anything, but attacked by something you have a low stat, it doesn't matter what you do, so having the correct stat is as important if not more ao then something as idiotically obvious like "try to get out of the way and/or block"

I'm looking for the summon servant spell, and every one i found (Type-wiki, Fate/zero episode 1, random google search) Give me different results.
Any of you know which one is accurate? if so, could you post either it or a link?
What exactly were the effects of the tainted contents of the Holy Grail? It apparently corrupts a Servant's ego (though the only example is Gilgamesh who is completely unscathed), Kiritsugu was cursed and lost his circuits, limbs and sight before dying, Kotomine was resurrected and uses it as a replacement heart, Sakura loses to her dark side and becomes the master of Avenger, and Shirou is completely unaffected (he felt the curse but threw it off like Gilgamesh)... so what does it do?
Speaking of which, what did Zouken implant in Sakura? The Grail was Irisviel, right? Did he take a bit of her circuits or did he take the tainted contents, or what?
There will be different variations. Aria is chanted to one's inner reality and can differ from each other as long as it conveys a special meaning and includes specific keywords. For example, Rin's chant mentions Zelretch, the patron of the Tohsaka family. This is obviously her personal touch.
Guess that depends on whether there are actually different versions of the spell, or if you're just finding differently worded translations of the same thing (in which case just choose one, who cares)
The words in an aria need to have great meaning to the magus. It is a form of self-hypnosis that allows magi to effectively manipulate their magic circuits.
