The way I see it is that it doesn't matter that he was once human, or anything like that. What matters is that his humanity was so deeply rooted within his culture, and that even as a god, he remained human. It's about being Human, capital H, and remaining as such even when reaching godhood, so it's irrelevant that some gods once took human form. But also considering how much they hammer in how much he is an exception among exceptions, it's probably moot to even consider how this could apply to anyone else.Originally Posted by Byegod

Converting things into spiritrons is nothing special. Rayshifting is one application.

Nope. Converting something intangible like a soul into spiritrons (rayshifting, moon cell diving) and absorbing civilization, technology, concepts (Sefar) has been done before. I know you're asking this for powerlevel debates, but what Chaos did was similar to Sefar absorbing stuffs, or Moon Cell making and breaking various things into spiritrons. Just because it can convert concepts into spiritrons doesn't mean it can convert any and everything.
Hm. I don't know who or what Chaos is - I'm assuming it's got something to do with the Greek lostbelt -, but it can be argued that in the Nasuverse a soul is a concrete existence, unlike something more abstract like, say, the concept of Hope or something.
Spiritrons are literally what form the soul. Converting things into spiritrons means converting things into what forms your soul. Chaos basically was only able to convert stuffs that is there into spiritrons to absorb as energy just like Sefar absorbing spiritrons to grow bigger. Being able to manipulate spiritrons, creating souls or capable of dismantling the soul (like with conceptual weapons) is something more complicated than that.
I think it helps to know that a more literal translation of spiritron is more like "spirit/soul particle", as in, the lower lever building blocks that make up the soul.

Because the soul in Nasuverse is special, very special, like Spoony said. It is a higher dimension body. You can destroy concepts like Sefar killing a bunch of ancient gods who are concepts and convert stuffs she destroyed into spiritrons, or Chaldea killed Surtr who is a conceptual calamity, but that doesn't mean the souls are also destroyed. Because the soul returns to the Root when there's no longer a body, be it a physical body or not. What Chaos does, again, is similar to Sefar, that is trying to break things down into spiritrons so it can absorb. Chaldea gang literally intercepted one of its beams with their own spiritron beam. When you boil things down to just spiritrons technology, that is something an advance civilization is capable of doing.

YYH is a bit different iirc. While for Spiritrons and the Spiritual Particles in Bleach both use 霊子. YYH uses 霊気(wich you can read as "Reiki"), which is in the most martial-spiritual sense of the thing you usually see. A non-corporeal energy present in living beings that when handled with dexterity allows for feats beyond the normal. At least as far as I remember.
