So I guess it'd kind of like some variant of the afterlife really.
Just one that stuck around much longer than the others and isn't localized to a specific timeline.
If it's a physical place I do wonder how they handle all those contradicting versions of each hero.
Several versions in there are once or a bunch of composite entities interacting in some nonsensical and paradoxical situation?
The answer is that it's not a physical location. It's never been a physical location. It has always, consistently, since FSN, been a metaphysical locus exterior to spatial and temporal reality.
Except when a joke character comes along and decides that it's not because jokes.
It's funny, isn't it? I'm laughing.
You're laughing too.
We all laugh here.
Because it's so funny.

In LB3, QSH told Yu Meiren to go to the throne so that her memories of Xiang Yu is updated to his record. So it's not an afterlife in the normal sense of it, unless when Yu got there she checks in for a room then write her report about her husbando to submit it to the Throne manager for HS update.

So when a Phantom is fused to a Heroic Spirit the Skills or NP they grant are boosted, correct?
Are they boosted to equal the level they'd be if they were an actual Heroic Spirit or are the abilities boosted beyond those demonstrated in their myth?
This has always been one of the things I've hated, trying to turn the ToH into a physical location because Hotel Chaldea.
Absolutely stupid.

You'd have to recheck Shinjuku. Your first category is pointless because they'll never be HS according to their criteria so don't bother. The second I'm doubting off the top of my head; when Moriarty talks to Lobo about giving him Invisible Man, he mentions that by it self it's practically mediocre. It only becomes effective because of Lobo's innate strength which gets harder to deal with because you become John Cena.
So maybe not? Actually, what did Hessian even do for Lobo?

Yeah that's the issue. This is how the Throne is characterized:

Most of what happens in the story involves very serious business like controlling and modifying spirit graphs and as far as I read, you could literally do anything with all devices inside Chaldea. That is, FGO timeline actually make jokes happen, which also make them canon (as in something that happened and is recorded as fact).
Woudn't that mean that joke characters and other things that exist only because of Takeuchi pervertness could actually be summonable, like, in any universe? Could this impact non-Fate timelines as well, like the Tsukihime ones?
TL;DR What is the true permanent impact of FGO on Nasuverse?
nothing at all.
what you should be asking is what is the true permanent impact of FGO's fans on the nasuverse
a much more dire and disconcerting question.

Indeed, in this case FGO being impactful would be an easier to solve scenario than its fans being impactful. Thanks.
