I mean, couple therapyin movies at leastseems to revolve a lot around "what did you see in him/her that made you want to marry him/her initially?", and boy that would be an awkard question wouldn't it

You're taking it a bit too far, I think. She was a product of her environment and upbringing, not a literal machine.
shit BL says
Once and always and nevermore.
People here seem to underestimate how much even minorly abusive upbringings can fuck with you, I can vouch for weird emotions and what is wrong being normal to you.

Machines do not lose their worth when a newer model appears.
Their worth (life) ends when humans can no longer bear that purity.
Did Sola have a bad upbringing? I thought non heir children of mage families usually live relatively easy lives. She even received a decent(if basic) education in magecraft.
Not particularly, at least by mage standards. She wasn't treated like Ophelia or Tsubaki Kuruoka. That being said, she was still the spare and used as a marriage prize. Nonetheless, her issues weren't really related to that since she had a seemingly innate inability to feel emotional pain or pleasure.

If Umineko is any indication it’s furniture that gets the twisted love.
I thought Ophelia was conditioned into believing the abuse/experimentation WAS love. Tsubaki definitely was.
But to answer the question, I suppose with the former, you can at least pretend to have felt love. Still, neither is really better or worse. I only said what I said about Sola because she was already born unable to really feel anything, unless the Zero mats belie some early neglect that made her that way.
Ophelia definitely couldn't tell the difference between love and emotional abuse. The whole point of her Sunday spiel is that her parents not doing mage research on Sundays made it harder for her to pretend they cared.
Do we know if Qi is something distinct from Od/Life force?
considering Case Files Adventures dipping its toes into chinese stuff. Might get an actual answer for that in the coming years.

Is FSN Cu's two NP's based on his skill or because of his lance? Like if Lancelot used Knight of Owner on the spear, could he use Cu's two NP's? Or is it something that only Cu can do with Gae Bolg?
I don't think there's any cases of Lancelot even activating the NPs he's stolen so whether he can do that is unknown.
You need a true name at the very least, before any specific complications, Lancelot can't even speak. Maybe he can activate Clarent to 1/3 of its power because he can say 'Arthur'.
I am reminded of Message's old jokes about Shinji stealing Ea and using it because anyone can use Ea because it doesn't have a name
