Magi using spiritrons doesn't mean science cannot also use spiritrons. The whole point of science messing with magecraft is that it can and will eventually capable of replicating everything magecraft (and even magic) can do, making magecraft no longer needed. The magecraft that allows you to talk to your buddy miles away is no longer needed because the telephone is invented. Even worse, the telephone allows everyone with it to do that, while to use the telephone magecraft one needs to be a magi.

Or to give another example. In SMT the genius Stephen Hawking invented the COMPs that allows any and everyone with it to be able to summon and control demons as will. Demon summoners, summoning magic and the likes are no longer required. It would be like in a future Fate works, some smartass creates a phone app that allows any and everyone with the app installed to be able to summon a Servant. To the trash bin with all that classic holy grail and summoning circles and the likes. And this is very possible, because Chaldea is pretty much half way there.

In mahoyo, it's mentioned that there are various ways to load magical energy into a spell formula in order to use it, and Aoko mentions three examples: 出す, 撃つ, and 流す. Gandr seems like an obvious example of the second one, since it shoots out, but what are examples of the other two? Or have I completely misinterpreted the meaning of this line?

    For the first example:
Chapter 5b (Aoko vs Flat Snark) for this line: 中空に浮かぶ第三層は臨界に達した魔力を撃ち出す銃口であり、射角を調整する照星しょうせいだ。

Chapter 12 (Aoko vs Touko) has these mentions:

Aoko vs Flat Snark (Chapter 5b) also has this for the third example:

    『ぐ、つぅーーー!』

    流する体内魔力。
    分解寸前の魔術回路。
    魔術をカタチにした刻印は皮膚や肉のみならず、骨の髄ずい、骨の芯しんまでその文字を刻んでいく。

    「はーーーいっっ、つぅ…………!」

I can only think of snap, crack and shoot when you talk about how Aoko uses mana.

    Thank you for the effort.
None of those has to do with loading magical energy into a formula though.

The first one is about firing the magical energy from the 3 layered magic circle in the air.
The second and third aren't even about magical energy. The fourth is talking about aoko's sorcery trait being pretty much prana burst.

I didn't expect much tbh, but no problem. Might have been mentioned elsewhere.

I'd say both of these make sense tbh, yeah.

What's your thinking for "Emiya's tracing = 出す" though? That you just release the energy or whatever to produce the projections? I guess that would imply a more personal range than 撃つ, then?

Maybe it's just a personal thing? I don't think every way to load magical energy is one of these three.
Because you are too young. Or too stupid. Or both.

They're not, she's mentioning some examples, but I'm just trying to link those to actual spells or types of magic to better understand which is which.

出す is pretty general in term so, it is pretty much what mages do in magecraft.

I don't think these are actually referring to anything specific. Aoko is saying everyone has her own way of spellcasting, as long as you get it done, it's fine. Circuits are not even always necessary.
It's like how Shirou was visualizing the hammer of a gun slamming down. Aoko was imagining it coming out of her hands and feet.

Yes, this is what I am getting from the passage as well.
    She's just listing some examples.
I also found the scene. She proceeded to shoot a fireball from her hand like a barbarian without going through anything elaborate as she described.

  18. #147818
    I found Shirou's analogy here:
    https://lparchive.org/Fatestay-night/Update%2099/
Just before he fired the projection spell.
    体内で生成した魔力を、各自それぞれの方式で流しこめばいい。
It's also in the Mahoyo part you posted. Aoko even says every magus injects mana into her spells in her own way.

Do we know where the Animuspheres are from? Like, ancestrally?

Edit: Trisha's Imaginary Numbers space pocket had Hebrew writing around it in the anime, and she's from an Animusphere branch family, so Israel?
