I thought it was that Joyeuse Ordre the attack wasn't real, not Joyeuse the sword. Because Karl has Joyeuse too, just a different color than Charl's.

For what it's worth, even the Wikipedia article for Joyeuse seems unsure as to whether or not the sword in the Louvre is actually Charlemagne's sword or whether it's a later replica. It *might* be his sword, but who could possibly confirm it?
If the sword in the museum was the real Joyeuse, wouldn't some magi have stolen it? Though the same could be said of any historical artifact in a museum.
You assume the museum isn't run by magi

This is a very good point.
It seems a lot of magi go into museum business.... Ah, geez, what good is being able to set things on fire going to do her? It could even be that this brat was the one responsible for the fire in the student dormitory.
"Hey, you said it yourself that an ability that ends with one generation is useless. Then whatever you do is pointless. Even if you try to become a mage instead of a wizard, it will end up no different in the end. If you don't come back to a normal path quickly, you won't even be able to find a job."
It's hard finding jobs these days as it is.
Azaka immediately tried to refute that statement.
Before that could happen --- an even more offensive piece of dialogue came leaping into the office with the sound of footsteps.
"No, getting a job won't be a problem. With that level of skill at her age, in just two years' time she'll be getting offers left and right. She could even be hired as a first-class curator."
With a loud whuffing noise, the door opens and Touko-san enters the room.

How much stuff do we have about how much stronger Rama would be as an adult? Aside from what his mats cover. Would he still likely exceed the likes of Karna in Fate?
If ranged attacks are supposed to be impossible due to Medea's field in F/SN then how come Gilgamesh killed Kojiro with GoB in the Fate route and EMIYA caladbolged Medea in the UBW route.
"Nasu-san CHECK!
If it's a straight out death match, then Archer will win. But Assassin is an oddity that fights under different battle conditions from the other Servants. While many Servants are offensive, Assassin is defensive. At a Servant-killing battlefield like Ryuudou Temple and with Caster's anti-sorcery defensive barrier, sorcery and Noble Phantasm power is decreased significantly. As a result, if it's not a powerful Noble Phantasm, then he won't take a fatal wound. Which means that the battle between the two is clearly swordsmanship. With Archer having his sniping sealed off to him due to the terrain effect, could Archer actually lose...?"
Dream Battle - Archer vs. Assassin
This seems to imply otherwise though?
And yet he was able to decimate Medea and the magic shield she created with one uncharged np that didn't even hit her? What about Gil who killed both Kojiro and Kuzuki in seconds in the Fate route with just his basic weak np barrage? If Medea's barrier really weakened nps to the point where sniping with bps is impossible neither of these two things should've happened.

A brief search didn't turn up the Japanese for that quote, but my impression from reading the English is just that the environment where Assassin is bound is one that is not conducive to long-range fighting. Even if Archer can snipe from across the city, it doesn't much matter in a heavily wooded mountain area where he doesn't get line of sight. To get a good line of sight, he needs to be close enough that Assassin would be able to fight back.
As for Archer beating up Medea, I was under the impression (when I read it) that he wasn't being affected by Medea's Bounded Field because he followed the rules of coming in through the front gate. I always understood it as a kind of 'anti-cheating' mechanism that punished you for trying to sneak in, so Archer taking the stairs to get inside (since Assassin let him go by) meant he wasn't being punished by it. But I haven't read the original VN in like 8 years or something so I could be misremembering.
As for Gil killing them, having one's NP power "reduced significantly" is somewhat irrelevant when you have eight billion NPs to throw at them. I don't think the quote implies at all that there is an "anti-projectile field" or anything of the sort though.

So, in Extella, when Nero gets her Venus powers, she chants that she is connecting to the Empyrean.
The Empyrean is the "highest heaven where god himself resides" in Christianity.
What do we know of this concept in TM lore?

Do we know what the deal is with the other hominid species in the Nasuverse? They all went extinct before the Age of Man started AND before Sefar's attack, so they can't have died then...I'm just curious what their deal could be.
