Ah, so it's its own term.
Cool, thanks, I learned something new today.
honestly it's just vanilla Platonism
I have a question.
So, " mana" and " magical enegry" actually is too different concepts?
Mana (マナ) is used to refer to the greater source of Magical Energy (魔力) (that which comes from the environment). This is in contrast to Od (オド) which is used to refer to the lesser source of Magical Energy (魔力) (that which comes from inside the body). Both of these are Magical Energy (魔力).
So Mana is Magical Energy, just a specific sub-type within it.
I begins to wonder about it after read Typemoon wikia and see that image:
https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/ty...20111018161141
They used two word to call it:
Mana: マナ
Magical Energy: 魔力
Not only that. In the picture, it writes that: 魔術回路 ( Magic Circuit) 魔力生成 ( create the Magical Energy).
Follow this image. Mana looks like the raw source from the natural ( Greater Source), and Magical Energy which the energy which Magus used to cast magecraft/Magic.
Say in other word. Mana looks like the crude oil, while Magical Energy is gasoline? And Magic Circuit is the generator what convert Mana/Od to Magical Energy?
I dont want to say that. But maybe it as same as magecraft (魔術) and Magic (魔法) actually two different concepts, although it is the samething in other fictions/games.
Maybe we misunderstand it until now.
No, people have understood it very well for a long time.
So. Mana looks like the raw source from the natural ( Greater Source), and Magical Energy is the energy which Magus used to cast magecraft/Magic. Is it right?
Magic Circuits helps to convert Mana/Od to the Magical Energy?
Among other things, yes.
What happened to Atlantis in PHH?
According to Prometheus-Hephaestus presumably was sunk by the flood of which Plato described, but he doesn’t know the details either. Touko says in Paradox Spiral that was also one of the Counter Force’s doings, but after so many years I don’t know how much of that do you want to take into account.
It all makes sense now. The Counter Force is Velber all along.
The small bit of confusion might stem from the fact that mana and od are both called "magical energy" and then when they're converted by magic circuits it's also called "magical energy", so at the end it's called magical energy both before and after it's processed without any way to differentiate it.
What's important to note from the Olympus reveals is that the reason why no one ever found Atlantis is because it sunk to the inside of the hollow Earth, which is nowadays inaccessible due the Hollow Earth Theory being completely dismissed.
So, if you were to, say, create a Lostbelt where the Greek Gods stayed in charge forever setting their new Olympus on the sunk Atlantic continent and preventing the Hollow Earth Theory from ever being dismissed, the terrain of this Lostbelt Olympus would look identical to the terrain in PHH Atlantis.
I'm pretty sure Velber destroyed it when she killed the Olympians' mecha bodies. Then the survivors sailed east and would eventually become the Classical Greeks.
That doesn't match Touko saying the Counter Force did it in KnK but there's no way she could have known about Velber.
Oh yeah, that’s it, don’t know why I though Hephaestus confirmed it was the flood. Guess it was because he gives Holmes the benefit of the doubt to search how the specifics were in the pan-human history, since he couldn’t really assure anything about that aside Lostbelt’s.
My bad regardless.
So Solomon Ring allows Solomon to control all magecraft by man. So does that mean he can control Reality Marbles?
If it's a human's Reality Marble and not a Dead Apostle's or something, then probably
Ars Paulina notably is a Reality Marble, so yeah he most likely can.
