Mash and Fujimaru watch impressed as Komachi speedreads an extremely long series. Mash can relate to staying awake late to read stuff in one sitting, but that's not healthy. She gives Murasaki praises for the library, but she and Nagiko are still stunned. Even in her complete form, Komachi doesn't remember her life. The only memories she has are the many disjointed and contradictory myths about her. But she does remember her wish and the feelings behind it. The reason why she chose to be summoned in Chaldea during Valentine's Day. Chaldea reminded her of her love for romance and poetry, so she summoned herself there to thank the person who taught her to love poetry in the first place.
Komachi, Fujimaru, and Mash head to cafeteria, with Mash carrying the frozen Murasaki with them. With Emiya's and Boudica's help, Komachi makes chocolate and gives it to Takamura, who steadfastly declines it. Mash tries to explain to him the expression of gratitude that this is, but he repeats again that he's not an independent Saint Graph, just a sub-product of Komachi's. There's no reason for Komachi to be giving a present to herself like that. Locusta asks Nikitich's horse's opinion as another Servant's sub-product. Nikitich calls for a family quarrel. The idea reminds Locusta of her frequent fistfights against the escaped Incarnadines. Nikitich threatens to let her horse harass Komachi on a daily basis if Takamura tries to go into spirit form to run away from the fight. Everyone, including the horse himself, considered that a pretty messed up idea. Regardless, Komachi hops on the idea of fighting her father to make him accept her chocolate even if he says no.
[ <-Battle against Ruler Ono no Takamura. He has his own sprite, but his battle animations are all taken from things he does in Komachi's animations.-> ]
Takamura proves his hardcore stubbornness. Komachi can't understand the lengths he goes to reject her chocolate. He gives the same answer as before. He's a sub-product of her shadow in history, not her true father. He's the weapon that protects her and it's delusional to believe he's anything else. Feelings and gifts are unnecessary. Everyone finds his harsh phrasing very uncalled-for.
Murasaki's Taizan Commentary spell doesn't show its caption to the target, so Takamura sees everyone react to his tsundere reveal and has no idea what's happening. Murasaki breaks out of her stun state for a moment realizing what she's done. This is Locusta's first time seeing Taizan Commentary in action, and she's appalled at the weapon of relationship destruction Seimei created. Incredibly disgruntled Douman in the background. Takamura can't keep up with the conversation, so they explain everything to him off-screen.
Beni drops by for a quick "serves you right" because King Enma already told Takamura to be honest with his feelings multiple times. Komachi offers her chocolate again, but Takamura maintains his argument that he's not his own Heroic Spirit and it pains him to delude Komachi with a false father. Nikitich calls him stupid for overcomplicating what's clearly better off as an "appearances have meaning" situation. The horse backs up the argument, explaining that he won't deny himself a good time just because he came bundled with Nikitich. Add agrees, failing to see Takamura's problem with being a sub-product. Poppa Hokusai is disappointed at the silly things he's hearing a historical figure he admired say. Bakin's and Setanta's companion dogs bark something probably to that effect. They look at Orion for a comment as well, but he reminds them he's the main body and Artemis is the sub-product. Osakabehime only now notices everyone was watching since the scene is happening in the middle of the cafeteria. Kiichi pushes him to give in to the peer pressure. Komachi gives her chocolate again, restating her feelings.
