Tips for making Magecraft for my OC

So I want to create a Magecraft for my OC who has reincarnated into Fate as a 3rd generation.
I was thinking of using scientific theories for my Magecraft alongside Thelema and perhaps even a foundation with a reality marble at its core.
I was thinking of gravity, thermodynamics, nuclear physics based Magecraft with the magus at its core using Thelema.
I had even though about using science as a foundation due to how much belief it has but I wanted to know how it would be so I wanted some tips for it

It really depends on what you're trying to do first, imo.
There's promise in wanting to blend Thelema with science. The California Convention is a one-off reference in an El-Melloi book that focuses on the study of modern magecraft independent from the Clock Tower(?), also obviously being where Thelema really got its footing with Crowley in San Francisco.
Then it's just finding a way to blend the two of them that's satisfying to you.

I mean, it really depends what you want to do.

Scientific theories aren't really compatible with Magecraft, as Science is opposed to Mystery which is how Magecraft works. If you want to do something like that however, see Atlas.

I think the biggest problem here is mixing science with magecraft. Science and magecraft don't go together. If you're going for gravity - you could use some elemental affinities and whatnot or just straight up create a foundation that manipulates Gravity. Additionally, you're mistaken about the belief section. Sure, people believe in science. But they understand it, and that's the issue. Your spells remain powerful because people don't understand Mystery.

Well, there is Chaos Magecraft which incorporates scientific theories into it and I think that mystery depends on majority belief of the people.

While it is true that science seeks to understand mystery, the methods of how the process works is still unknown to people with only those who specialise in it being able to know the intricacies of it

I think that gap in knowledge could be a form of mystery which can be used for Magecraft, people can't exactly see physical forces and the processes of some phenomenon are too complex for people to understand, which might work

Have you read the loredump that is Case Files? More relevantly the parts dealing with Caules/the Modern Department in general.

If anything, I'd look into Newton's Alchemy writings and similar occultism from old scientists.
