BOARD UPGRADE 3: UPGRADE HARDER

I know I've been busy and not posting here much. (Work kicks my ass and by the time I get home, I barely have energy to do much.) But there's been a handful of issues lately, so I'm going to do a forum upgrade tonight.

This forum upgrade will kick in at around Midnight Eastern. So whatever you need to get done... get it done, in case it decides it doesn't want to upload nicely and I have to keep the forum down for an extended period while making sure everything goes through properly.

For the record, if I'm not posting much, my IMs are still a pretty reliable way to get a hold of me. I'm usually on those at all times unless the internet connection dies, or I've actually got the PC off (which is usually only for upgrades and the like).

Probably mostly bugfixes. The biggest gripe I've been hearing is (apparently) users who are using Apple-based products (MacBooks, iPads, etc.) can't insert line breaks in the editor. This has essentially ground one group's RPs to a halt, and they're being rather vocal about it.

It's not my fault that his college has to be "trendy" and put Macs everywhere, but I've said I'll upgrade to see if that cures the issue. Short of that... I don't know if there's much (if anything) that I can do to hack-fix it.

Yeah I had that problem on my iPad myself, but there's a rather easy workaround.

Just insert a <br> term where you want your breaks and you should be golden.

Well, I did the patch, so if it's still busted, I guess that's what they'll have to do.

Tried that myself, but no luck. Of course I only saw the problem on an Android phone rather than anything Apple-related, but hey.

But checking from said phone, it does indeed look like it got fixed. Thanks for putting up with me there, DP.
