61 series I haven't read...
I am so far from the starting point of weebdom it's not even funny.
@Paitouch
Where did you read Mismarca and Dungeon?
Knowing Pai? The original moon, of course. Naturally bolstered by his proficient Google-fu.
My Fanfics. Read 'em. Or not.McJon01: We all know that the real reason Archer would lose to Rider is because the events of his own Holy Grail War left him with a particular weakness toward "older sister" types.
Great. I hereby pledge that I will never convert another word of Japanese into English until I completely internalize all of those series as part of my Google Translate training.
Thanks, Pai, this wouldn't be possible without you! (´∀`)b
Everybody be sure to thank Pai for this fortuitous turn of events! (´∀`)b
I will add on to his list.
Usotsuki Mii-kun (Mii-kun so gud)
Kadana Kouhei novels (particularly Boogiepop series)
Zashiki Warashi ni Dekirukoto
Tobira no Soto
Hariyama-san series
Utsuro no Hako (I hear the writer's latest novels are pretty gewd as well but haven't read them)
Bungaku Shoujo
9S if you buy in to the whole 'METAL GEAR TSUKIHIME' thing.
Faust magazines
Densetsu no Yuusha no Densets and Dai Denetsu
I hear that Mahouka Koukou no Rettousai series is supposed to be good but since it has an anime next season I been debating whether or not to actually read it.
Read or Die is also famous but I haven't read or seen anything about it (don't even know what its about), I just noticed it wasn't on Pai's list. But yeah, I just know every otaku knows about it.
I was thinking of trying Hi no Kuni, Kaze no Kuni Monogatari because of all the hype but I hear it turned to total shit. How's World Break that was another new one I saw people recommending on /jp/ and I think I saw people recommending Vanadis somewhere else?
Edit: oh ye isn't there gonna be a RuiTomo novel coming out by Hino (consider him as the Nisio of eroge)? Forget when tho.

Man, that brings back memories. One of the first LNs I ever read. Which reminds me, I keep forgetting to go get the latest installments.

I remember these collections of short stories by Otsuichi being enjoyable reads. Not technically light novels, but there's really not too much difference in the writing.
Though, I haven't gotten around to rereading these since I picked them up in Japan during one of my massive spending sprees at Book-Off (during which I sometimes randomly bought books I've never heard of that I often ended up just selling back---still, couldn't resist the 200 yen price tags).

Both books are out there somewhere on the Internet in Aozora Bunko format, by the way. Dunno about scans though.
And hey, ZOO has actually been translated. Available through Amazon Prime and everything. Never would've expected that.
Warning: major (?) spoilers in the summary.

I don't want to start flame or anything, but people hates the OreImo genre and the idea of overly long names as titles.
Can someone tell me why is the matter of this?
Though I don't have an opinion about long titles either way, I've occasionally stumbled across some interesting ones; e.g., I Had Become a Girl for Some Reason and Also Needed to Protect My Sister, so First Things First, I Decided to Go Fondle Some Breasts.

I think that long titles are similar enough in the difficulty department to short titles in trying to come up with them and having them sound good. They also feel funnier.
SAO 13 finished and it ends on a super cliffhanger. With a 6 month wait for the next volume, that's pretty cruel.

I dont particularly mind the long titles, though some are overdoing it.

I think most people who complain about the long titles just do so because its a language they dont understand so it feels like long gibberish instead of a catchy phrase to them.
Like how many of you guys would complain the same eay about... for example Fräulein Milla's Gespùr für Schnee?
Long titles are mouthful, mostly unimaginative, and they are a strong indicator that a novel series is terribad. Well, not all of them.
^But hey, try to say Dress na Boku ga Yangotonaki Katagata no Katei Kyoushi-sama na Kudan without stumbling on words. That title in German seems fine to me. So long as the novel doesn't have the same title as chapter names in Medieval Novels.
BTW, Dress na Boku blah-blah-blah is a novel about a trap by Mizuki Nomura, and I'm not going to search for any other long title.
