    There's several reasons why SHINJI: 1) it's funny 2) in canon, it is said that he is good at anything except magecraft 3) it's funny 4) he could play a Ciaphas Cain role remarkably well 5) it's funny.

    Well, considering that the closest thing to magic is Warp/Psyker related powers...

    I think Shinji would be better off without 'em.

    The Primarchs thing is actually one of the big divergences from the original Warhammer 40k universe. Velsper wanted it so that we had 12 loyal Primachs being the Knights of the Round, and then the rest being traitor Primarchs. Or something like that? I forgot what the exact thing was.
