    I honestly don't remember ever doing that fight alone, partly because I enjoyed cooping for it, partly because I rarely went to NG+.

    I'm going for NG++ to get all the spells. Doing it alone is pretty horrifying. Especially since I stopped leveling in NG.

    Doesnt one of the Pursuers vanish if you let him stab you with the glowing curse sword attack?
    Then you kill the other one, reset at bonfire and kill the one that vanished

    Didn't they introduce a patch to fix that some time ago, but in true Fromsoft fashion didn't really work because it was a hackjob? Probably just extending the time you can be away before they despawn.

    I watched some old videos of the fight to see if there was a different way to do it. I found out that they've made the fight harder in scholar because one of them starts off with the ability to use dark spells. Also they use their other long range attacks much more frequently in this fight.

    They've been taking quite the step in the right direction

    In earlier games they would just nerf the shit out of the OP weapon till it was unusable (see: halberds in DeS > halberds in DkS) but nowadays their nerfs are much better calculated, gotthardt's for example is still viable.

    I expect the same to happen to the current S rank
