It's pretty much always been the case, aside from the Noble Phantasms.
For example, most of the 4th War Masters were able to know the parameters of almost every Servants (bar Berserker and Caster who was absent) after the first day by watching either through familiars or Assassin.

I thought that was only for the stats, not the personal skills, though... maybe Darius used these years to upgrade his master-sight/analyze as well.
Homunculus seems to be set up as the second/third main-mainchar, and he seems to be about to ensue some awesome. Interesting. Hope we get a proper name for him some time.

I like to think that they watched Assassin's fail with the whole family, laughing merrily and Saber moping because Kerry will not let her have the popcorn while still ignoring her.

Seems a bit off to me though. Disdain is perfectly understandable, but to be bewildered at the idea that people use magecraft for money just sounds really weird.
Not when you think about how it is mostly the opposite. The Tohsaka's burn money like charcoal for their magic in form of gems, never used it to gain money, and they ar elike a small backwater family of upstarts.
Some magi don't understand the concept of television.
You think someone could be utterly shocked at the revelation that magecraft can be used to make money?

I am of the personal belief that the Tsukihime Remake is two years from release. It will remain as such until a release date is announced, at which time its actual release date is 6 months after that date.
