I read the retranslation. I think they finsihed it so he doesn't have to struggle through that.
I don't remember part 5 being hard to decipher so I think they fishished that retrans too.
I found part 3 hard to read because I was using mangareader.net and the in the middle (the part with the empress and the wheel) the chapters were posted anochrologically. Which was annoying and confusing. Luckily the glorious finale was left intact.

It's kind of like the situation with cokesakto's KnK novel translations. Chunks of the dialogue are made up because the scanlators were unsure how to translate parts due to the QUALITY scans they had.

I thought it was because they were drunk and didn't even fully learn the language. They were in the middle of a japaneese class that they failed.
I mean all the characters themselves were drunk. Especially Jotaro.
